Subject: Left Behind volume II
Message: Well Jill, you know we are waiting to hear from Oprah, so we really should share our great reads! And these are all great reads.
I also like reading John Greshim (sp?) I love legal reading materials. He is easy to follow and grips you with his characters. They are all very human, down to earth characters. I just started reading him, and began with The Summons! WOW!

Message: I was very intrigued by The DaVinci Code and Angels and Demons. I love it when they can spin a good tale. I do not believe all I read, but I do love a good story.

Message: Hey ya'll!
I have missed chatting with you guys, I am still on vacation in SC, I am outta here on Monday...anyhoo, while I have never read the "Left Behind" series, one of the most enthralling books that I read in '05 was, "Hadassah, One Night with the King," by Tommy Tenney. There is a sequal to it that I am planning on buying after the New Year (name escapes me). Anyway, it is a fictionalized account of the life of Queen Esther, and I am telling you, you literally get pulled into the scenery of the Middle East during the life of Esther. The author spins an awesome historical tale, the imagery in the book is outstanding. This is a 300+ page book, I read it in less than 48 hours!
So maybe you guys will get the chance to check it out, if you haven't already...I am interested in the Narnia series too...I never read them as a child...

Message: Hey Barb!
I'm feeling "left behind!" You guys have had a lot of action around here the past couple of weeks. Nice to see more ladies from the Q around here too.
Not to highjack your thread, but what the heck was this latest drama with the Q? Looked like is was messy. I haven't been over there in a long time either, so I was clueless as I was reading through some of you guys' posts from last week...

Message: Seems to be the usual suspects trolling and boy are the fish biting tonight. From what I gather at this point, those poor dears just can't stand it unless there is turmoil involved on the board these days. It is amusing for about 2 seconds then it all becomes just too miserable! Somebody made dumb comments about brandon again so the fury begins, AGAIN! You know the drill, you just pick up your favorite soap opera right where you left it 2 years ago. ~~~~LOL~~~~
I mean honestly just ignore the spewing and post about the things that are of interest. Trying to reason this mess out over there is useless. The powers that be are NOT in control of anything there. Just kick off good people like Dap and Moi!

Message: joy, did you know about the movie "One Night with the King?? I have been seeing the behind the scenes shots on Tommy Tenney's program and TBN. It is beautiful!! I heard his wife sing the song by same name last year, then tell story of how she was given the words for it....gave me chill bumps listening to it. They have a website that you can see trailer for movie. It was to be released in Oct but now I think it is March.

Message: I have read everything that John Grisham has written (except Bleachers) and am now reading The Summons. He is a fantastic writer. When I finish each book, I have to send it to my daughter in Taiwan. I gave Bleachers to her husband because he likes football.

Message: Hi Margo,
Yes I was looking forward to the movie, but it seemed like production was delayed. I was looking for it to be released this year, then I never heard when it was going to finally be released. So thanks for the info, I will be looking for it.
