Subject: QVC PRODUCT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Message: Hi everybody, I finally found the guidelines to becoming a vendor for QVC.
They can actually take your intellectual property and contest the copyrights, trademarks, patents, and service marks. This is the reason I will not even consider the submission of my little products. I AWAIT OPRAH! LOL
just thought I would share this information for anyone considering getting involved with such a venture. This was copied and pasted from their site. Information readily availabe to anyone. So I am not letting any cats out of their exclusive bag!
PRODUCT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
1. You represent that any material which you submit will be (i) original with you and that no other person has an interest therein or claim thereto, or (ii) that you have sufficient rights in and to the material so that your submission to QVC will not violate the rights of any third party.
2. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT QVC AND ITS AFFILIATED AND SUBSIDIARY COMPANIES ARE NOT RECEIVING YOUR SUBMISSION OR DISCLOSURE IN CONFIDENCE AND THAT NO DISCLOSURE MADE BY YOU TO QVC WILL ESTABLISH OR CREATE A CONFIDENTIAL RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN YOU AND QVC AT ANY TIME.
3. QVC does not undertake to maintain in secrecy any suggestion or material submitted.
4. Your submission does not obligate QVC to pursue your product or pay any consideration for any use of your ideas, nor does your submission obligate QVC in any other way whatsoever.
5. QVC and its related entities are free to use for any purpose whatsoever any ideas, concepts, know-how or techniques contained in any communication or submission by you.
6. All of your rights and remedies arising out of a disclosure made to QVC, or the use thereof by QVC, shall be limited exclusively to any rights and remedies, as may now, or in the future, be accorded to you under applicable United States patent, copyright and other intellectual property laws. Neither acceptance nor consideration nor use of the submitted material by QVC shall in any way impair its right to contest the validity of any patent, trademark, service mark or copyright that might have been or may hereafter be issued on or obtained for the subject matter of the disclosure or any portion thereof.
7. All other claims you may have of any nature whatsoever arising out of any disclosure you may make to QVC or any affiliated or subsidiary companies are hereby waived.

Message: Enjoy your time! Are you guys going out New Years Eve or will you just have friends in for the Times Square festivities?
We had an calm and contented, uneventful, restful day. By yesterday, all of the children and grands were at their homes, making their own traditions. Works great! They visit with their in-laws and other family members and we are basically over the hump. I even took down the tree and put everything in my "Christmas Room" upstairs. I store everything in one of the spare rooms, so it is really convenient to get down each year, and just as easy to return until the next time! The biggest decoration problems are our 10' star my hubby and the eldest son, David, made. They always raise to at 135' on our radio antenna tower in the back 40 in the pecan grove. And then there is 5' lighted wreath they made me 3 years ago, to go between the double bedroom windows on the upstairs level. Poor things, they work so hard for me this time of year.

Message: At this point I am absolutely certain they are just as grateful I haven't made that attempt! LOLOL
Not being paranoid, but I don't think they like me much there because I DID break their "rules" by getting on their boards. Regardless of the reasons, I was in the wrong. And thats the facts mam!
