Subject: Bare Escentuals
Message: The thing about BE, in my oh, so humble opinion is this....
It's hard (at least is was for me) to learn how to use it on your own. My thinking about Barb going into one of the stores is that they can actually show you how to use it.
Now, most people are not as thick headed as I am and do not need to be taken by the hand and guided through everything so a new BE user might have no problems at all.
Barb, if you get some I am sure you will love it. It gives such a natural look. But just like with your product, GO LIGHTLY! It doesn't take much at all to get 'the look'.

Message: i agree, like NGF, a little goes a long way. you do need the brush to put it on with. it's not a put on the fingertip or a sponge kind of foundation. going to the store sounds better and better doesn't it! they can help you get the right shade. there are a lot of them.

Message: Yep - a little goes a long way. In fact, I probably have enough BE to last me well into the next century.
Barb - I just put the catalog in the mail. I marked the page with the foundation. Enjoy!!

Message: Thanks Deb, I will certainly be on the lookout for it. I will be in Atlanta for one day in January and although it is already going to be a full day I may try and *breeze* into Lenox Square. What is the name of the store there?

Message: There is a Bare Escentuals Boutique and there is also a Sephora. Both are great places - but you may get better instruction at the BE boutique.

Message: Oh, this is fun! Barb, I "converted" another small group of friends on the net to Bare Escentuals and they love them. Some weren't big makeup wearers before but liked what it did for their middle-aged skin because they didn't have to sacrifice that natural look and feel of bare skin. You have lots of experts here for advice, but if you can get some instructions from a Sephora at first, all the better. Also, on QVC it's good to watch the videos. Keep us posted!

Message: HEY LYNNIE!
I hope I will have time to go to Lenox and get what I NEED! There may be nothing that can help!!!!!
I have been bare for so long the product may not be able to hide the sundamage. I am like old scarface..
Even though I am no longer "on" the beach, I am constantly in the sun down here.
Lynn, did you see that Simplicity, Lisa, is here. She is actually a neighbor. We live about 18 miles apart. What a small world..

Message: Barb, if you have really dry skin and use the BE alone, my guess is you won't like it. My mom's skin is like the desert - and she hated BE the first time I put it on her. Moisturization is the key. If you don't already have a favorite - I am sure we can recommend a couple our favorites, right ladies!!!

Message: Well, just wait until you try Bisque concealer underneath the foundation. You'll be sold, Barb.
I did see that Lisa is here but her thread was full. I hate being number 11! So, I'll say Hi and Welcome here - Welcome to the scary nail cult, Lisa!

Message: Ok, this is already too deep for my little brain. What do I need, and what EXACTLY, do i do with it once I have it? Boys and girls, it is sad when an almost 60 year old cant put on a little makeup!
