In yesterdays mail I got a bunch of samples from Walgreens. Mostly OOO products, several were the new Quench line. Has anyone tried those yet? The shower lotion is in there and a CG True Blend. My oldest daughter was here when I opened it and she grabbed the True Blend. I was surprised because she uses BE too.

I save all my samples, well, most of them. When I do my gift bags for teachers, Bible Study ladies, Mail Carrier, Hair Dresser - I throw in a few samples that I've collected during the year. Most seem to love them and if they don't and just toss 'em away - well, nothing lost. This year, I even had a couple people ask for some of the Amazing Grace samples again......lol

I can imagine people love getting them. When my oldest daughter turned 16, I went to Supercuts and got her a whole set of beauty products. You know, the shampoo, conditioner, hairspray, gel, mousse, etc. The clerk thought my idea was great but said it wouldn't be complete without 'these' and she put handfuls of samples in the bag. Turned out the samples were my daughters favorite part of the gift! LOL Go figure!

I love samples too, espcecially of products I use. They are so great for traveling. (I don't get away much longer than a weekend, so Iam usually good with just a couple samples!)

Cheryl - I really like Dr D - I use the RestorEyes as well. I also use her Facial Firming Pads at night. She also has a Vitamin C Tightening Mask that is phenomonal. I alternate it weekly with a Clientele mask that I love.

When I think about the facial/skin care routines we go through, I often imagine 1,000's of years from now, archeologists digging us up and finding our bodies gone, but perfectly preserved facial skin laying there. LOLOL Sorry, morbid I know, but I can't help it.

Speaking of saving samples....
There was a thread over on Q about what to do with all those samples. I save mine. I cannot bring myself to open them, nor can I bring myself to toss them out! LOL I swear I have some 10 year old samples. AND, even though I don't use them, when we stay in a hotel on vacation I take the little soaps, shampoos and shower caps!! I can't help it! What if there's a soap shortage or something? LOL
Have any of you heard the Jeff Foxworthy CD called Redneck Games (I think)? There's a track in there about him taking his whole family to Hawaii for vacation and one of his brothers (or cousins) raided the maids cart when she left it in the hallway!
Jeff - "What are you going to do with 50(?) shower caps?"
Counsin - "Christmas presents!!!"
Cousins wife - "Well, thanks for spoilin' it for every body else!".
Sorry, my family are such rednecks... I love them to death but this stuff makes me laugh!
