She is the perfect baby girl! But don't all of us believe our grands are indeed just that?
She is leaving this afternoon to go to Canada for Christmas. She can't miss making those snow angels with her grand ma! She loves the snow....
Boy if you want to get away from me and not have me follow behind, head north! That will do it!

They have a lot of snow in Winnipeg this year. My sister said that one day they told everyone who could to stay at home until they could clear the roads. That was about 3 weeks ago. Here in the Edmonton area of Alberta we have been having trouble keeping any snow on the ground. We got a few mm of snow and now it is supposed to be above 0 degrees C so it will all melt again. They are afraid that it will be very dry next year because we have no snow. I don't mind, however.

Well she and her daddy are headed north tonight. They left here at about 5:30 and I only pray their journey is uneventful. It frightens me knowing they get into all of that weather.
And Cheryl, the lights on the snow are beautiful, I agree, as long as I am inside of a well heated home with a cup of HOT cocoa and a slice of fresh pound cake, just looking at its splendor. LOL

and that's all i do when it's snowing and snowing and snowing-until i have to go blow snow off my driveway and our rental! i like watching it from inside too, until i get cabin fever! it's so pretty when it's coming straight down and the flakes are huge. it's not so nice when it's blowing sideways though! your son and grandaughter will be fine. lake effect is around tonight, but it will be gone by the time they get anywhere up here. wish i could personally fly her up here for you-i would, you know.

You are just the sweetest thing in the world to even suggest that you would do something like that.
Actually, David says that is their best bonding time. She can't just cut and run to do her little girl, doll baby thing. He has her trapped and all to himself.
