I just wanted to stop by and say Hey! I had a friend in from out of town this weekend and it was busy! She is a representative of Arbonne ..and so we had a spa party on Friday nite with 15 women! What fun..all of us walking around with white masks on our face...Oh what we do for Beauty! My nails held up...as expected! Back to work I go...everyone have a great day!

Hi Ladies - It was a busy weekend here as well. Not to mention that we are all sick here. I was sick over the weekend, now hubby has it, my daughter has flu like symptoms and granddaughter has been throwing up all day. UGH!!! I have no idea what is going around, but it got us good. We are all so good about taking our vitamins and such. I attempted work today and then came home early. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day.

It is going around with a vengeance this year. I do hope everyone recovers very quickly. Cierra had it last Wednesday, she went back to school this morning. So may be you guys will recover as quickly. I had symptoms and downed Airborne every 3 hours for 2 days straight and I am fine. So get you some Airborne. That stuff is phenomenal....Keep us posted on your progress, and give our best wishes to the rest of the family.

Yes, it does seem to be very persistent - whatever "it" is. I am taking the Airborne, Zicam - you name it. Although I hate being sick, it just breaks my heart when the little ones are under the weather. They just don't seem to understand.
Thanks for the well wishes. We are now getting ready for the possibility of some sleet on Wednesday night, Thursday morning. Barb, you are probably far enough south to escape this one - we might be. It really look borderline on the new. Keep us in your prayers.

i hate being sick too. good thing i'm not, very often! i don't know how all my teacher friends stay well.
you guys please keep all the sleet and ice down there! stay safe and don't drive in it, but please don't send it this way. it was 2 degrees last night. the snow on the ground was "crunchy" when you walked on it! i can just hear the gas company doing the "cha-ching dance"!

deb, I woke up this morning about 1:45 to take the puppy out and I felt like a freight train had hit me. I don't have an intestinal bug, but everyhing ached, I was freezing, and I even had to ask my husband to stay home from work today to take care of the puppy. I just couldn't take him out or take care of him at all.
I slept most of the day, and I am feeling somewhat better, but not great yet. I hope if I get a full night's sleep, I will be better in the morning.
I hope you and your family will be better tomorrow too. I'm glad I'm not alone.

I've had it too!!! I started with the sore throat and by Friday night I just wanted to sleep. Stayed in bed for three days and now I'm playing catch-up. About the only thing I have left now is this horrible cough. Keeps me awake at night. I have also taken the Airborne, Zicam, Mucinex, you name it. So that was one weekend I lost that I really needed to get everything finished. Guess I'll just have to double time it this week!!!
Hope everyone is feeling better soon!
