Subject: Brittle Nail Syndrome - Information
Message: Hi all,
I found this site and it's got some terrific information. It's similar to the MayoClini site.
I love the little graphic they have of the actual make up of the nail.
I hope you all find it informative!

Message: I'll have to check that out. I took my nails off on Dec 6th and am waiting for the NGF to arrive. Thanks, Cheryl, for the info. It took a long time to get the acrylic off, but it was a lot better than the last time I took them off. My nails are in much better shape than last time. It will probably take awhile for the NGF to arrive because it has to cross the border, and I have found that it is slow when ordering from the states. I guess I will just have to have patience.

Message: Moi - I read that word for word. VERY informative! You know - if Barb ever wanted to do a info links page about nail structure/diseases, that one along with her Mayo clinic article would be a good starter. (It would also bring this site up more in search engines.) After all, for problem nails they stress much of what NGF promotes - moisture, air and keeping them bare.
Don't mean to talk about you like you aren't here, Barbara! lol

Message: Ah shucks, Lynnie, that's ok. Actually if I put links to other sites it does not pull us up in the ratings. It would pull their link relevance up. If they linked back to me then it would benefit us. I don't do links because I can not be responsible for their content. So I only mention those I find that I know will be ok. Every time someone else mentions a link, I go check it out. There was a time that several trouble maker types were putting undesirable links on the site. It actually got ugly. So I just finally had to block their IP. But with things like Mayo Clinic, and this www.ajj.com I can really appreciate the information contained and know that it will only benefit. But thanks for caring about our link relevance.
How the heck are you? Been a busy weekend for us here in South Georgia! How about yourselves.?!

Message: Hey Barbara! Gee, you never know what sort of BS is going to happen on a site and now I well understand why linking wouldn't work well for you. That's OK, there are other places to spread the good word!
Busy weekend here too! You are probably busy getting your life back in order after your nursing stint. I can't believe this holiday is upon us. Yesterday, I started wrapping and trying to judge where I need to pick up a few more gifts. Have another stack on my counter to wrap this a.m. I'm depending on you ladies to yell at me and tell me to get back to work!

Message: Good morning! I am fairly well recovered from Cierras sickness, but it does look like she shared some of her little girl cooties. (Papas words, not mine!) I am downing the Airborne and praying it doesn't last very long. The children will all be here on Dec. 23...That is our set date with the grands. That way all of the children have Christmas morning to create their own "family traditions" and spend time with their in laws. So the grand children almost get 2 full Christmases. Every one shares gifts and the traditional Christmas feast is consumed here. By the end of this celebration day, I really am a whipped puppy. But in a very good way. Too full to move much usually. But that is ok. I just hibernate until the New Year. We don't drink here so we don't go out for New Years Eve. We're not goody goodies, there was alcoholism in the family so we just forgo that particular part. Though we always watch the "Ball Drop" festivities from NY, while also watching the "Peach Drop" from Atlanta too! What do you do for New Years Eve?
