Hey ladies~
Just wanted to "introduce" myself and thank those of you that recommended NGF.
I am not sure how my post will appear on this BB but, I am 44oz. on the Q-BB. I read about NGF over there.
Today is my maiden voyage with the NGF...My nails are such a wreck. Acrylics are off and boy do they look UGLY! I am going to start *massaging*massaging*massaging right now! I'll let you all know about my progress BUT, I had to say "hi" and thank all of you, first! (Especially, a big "thanks" to Barbara who sent out the NGF so quickly!)

I'm so glad to see you here. I am thrilled you decided to give NGF a try. We have alot of fun chats on these boards, so please stop in often and say hi :) We would love to hear of your progress and help with any questions you might have.
I was UniquelyMoi on the Q boards but they didn't like me posting about NGF I guess and I am not able to post under that name anymore. I have frequently read your posts there and find the information you share very helpful!

beckie,
you're doing just fine. it take a couple of posts to get familiar sometimes. when you do post and you don't see your message right away, just press shift and click on your refresh or reload icon and it will come up. that way you won't "multiple post" the same message, thinking it's not going through. something i had to "learn" how to do!
a vast majority of us here are "recovering" from acrylics. it's sometimes not a quick process or an easy process, but it is so worth it when your nails do come around and they are finally healthy and all yours. acrylics do such horrible damage to everyone who wears them. it's all just hidden underneath, or until you develop allergies or your own nail beds start lifting from the drilling and filing. just don't give up, be patient,and faithfully use the formula for the first 30 days as directed. they will heal. if you get down about the condition of them, just come on back here. we've been there.

Welcome, Beckie! I'm "fidget" over the the Q boards and I was really worried about your situation having been close to that myself. I've only been at the NGF a month but I'd had a nail that broke halfway down a couple weeks ago and now it is getting very close to the quick. The NGF is also really good for that exposed tender skin you have there now. I think, in two weeks, you should be feeling and looking waaaay better. Keep us posted and happy healing!

Over on the Q I am thelonghaul. I don't post nearly as much as I used to. I am a homeschooling parent and spend a lot of my time teaching, reading, etc.
You really will find this board a great place to visit! The ladies (and occasional gentlemen) are so much fun, so caring and incredibly knowledgeable!
The only thing is.... well... Barbara has this really heavy accent and sometimes it makes it hard to understand what she is typing. Just humor her, nod your head and pretend you understand her. It's best that way :)

Welcome to you! I hope you enjoy being ridiculed. These ladies can obviously be brutal if your accent gets out of control. If they bother you just slap 'um round a bit. Works for me!
I expect great things for your nails too, so you have to stay in touch with us, often....We become possessive of our friends!
