Subject: I'm a slacker!
Message: I have been slacking lately with my NGF, busy with the holiday season I guess! My poor nails were crying for their magic cream! After one application, they look so much better. I will get back to business and do my cream faithfully now! Barbara, do you have hand cream? My poor hands look terrible with this cold winter weather!

Message: I forgot to use my NGF for a day or two & I could hardly
believe how bad my cuticles looked in that short
amount of time. As soon as I rubbed the NGF in, my
cuticles were back in tip top shape. Just amazing.

Message: Hey Barb. Can a person overdose on this stuff? I have my hands in water so much taking care of all my little critters that I find I use it more than twice a day. When I sit down to take a break from work I find myself reaching for that jar and working a little into each nail - but my nails look so pretty and my cuticles are so nice now. Funny that DeeDeeJune mentioned hand cream. I was just thinking the same thing today. We need a hand cream with similar ingredients. Winter is so cruel to the skin.

Message: I used mine 3 times yesterday. My cuticles are nice and hydrated this morning. But, Barbara, any ideas on hand cream. My nails are taken care of, but my hands get so dry and chapped. Nothing sinks in and works for me. I'm a nurse, washing my hands a lot through the day at work, then using that anti-bacterial gel, which is drying. Make us a magic potion!

Message: Ladies - I totally agree about the hand cream idea and I'd buy such a product from Barb in a heartbeat. In Winter, I keep a pump bottle of whatever I have on hand next on my sink and immediately slather it on every time I wash dishes or my hands. It would be great having something that lasts through a couple washings.
Sometimes, during the day if the hands have been in water alot, I'll add that extra dab and rub of the NGF as well. I've only been at it a week, so my nails are still drinking it up. Hate to undo all the good I do morning and night with my 10-minute sessions!

Message: You guys are not going to believe this but my hubby did in fact develop a hand cream. I think it works beautifully and our daughters in law love it too. The problem is that it costs so darn much to produce it I just told my hubby that no body would pay what we would have to charge to have any product margin. So we just make enough for ourselves and the girls. It takes a lot of rubbing it in, because we did not include any alcohol or other drying agents. That is the reason that most hand lotions "absorb" dry so quickly. The alcohol makes it seem as though it is being absorbed, but it is evaporating or drying it up. That is also the reason that hand lotions don't really do the trick in most instances. They are actually contributing to the drying OUT of the skin. Not much, but when you need that moisture to penetrate, the alcohol is counter-productive.

Message: Another thing I failed to address....
You can not OD on the Growth Formula. It is safe to use as often as you wish. It seems that the problem for most, is actually allotting the time to use the formula in the first place. I was reading some of the posts on QVC, and they are adamant about stating that the formula is just too time consuming. Since I don't have the liberty of responding over there, I can not tell them that they can just relax, while watching the news, and rubbing in the formula. They will achieve the results with out it actually interfering in their hectic schedules. But what's a mother to do?! LOL

Message: Aha - alchohol! Barb, I never stopped to even read if this is an ingredient in lotions. Thanks, even if your formula wouldn't be practical to sell, we at least know now to watch for that ingredient. It had better be low on the list or not at all.
I'm actually experiencing a benefit from the "time consuming" rubbing. I have a little arthritis in my fingers that flares up when the whether is cold. They were really bugging me a couple weeks ago and I proably should have done some boring hand exercises. The NGF rubbing is limbering them up, probably a combo of the exercise and increasing circulation. I'll have to post that there sometime.

Message: hey ladies,
i've found great winter relief with pure shea butter. just stay away from products containing mineral oil. that just "sits" right on top of the skin and washes off at the first washing. products with lanolin and shea butter actually help protect the skin from the drying effects of water. also, with all the advertisment about anti-bacterial soaps, we are going to end up a society that has killed all the "good germs", and drying our skin in the process. a good moisturizing liquid hand soap, used for the length of time it takes to "sing" the alphabet in your head is all you need. yeah, i know, i'm a little nutty!
