Subject: No wonder it's called "Wonderstone"
Message: I just have to say this file is quite amazing. Even when my nails have been healthy in the past and I've filed gently in one directly, it's tricky for me. Seems like I can never achieve a smooth edge and sometimes filing would actually set off peeling.
Barb - I think I read here that the best way to do it is rub back and forth with short strokes and pretty much perpendicular to the nail with a little slant of the top toward the cuticle. Does that sound about right? That's what I've been doing and it really seems to seal off my edge.

Message: Lynnie that sounds good to me! You can in fact file back and forth with out the snags and splitting that will occur with an emery board or glass file. Just keep the file moisten through out the process to insure the most favorable results.
