you can't outrun both of us!! my "southern" sneaks out all the time-especially lately! even after 12 years, i still get, "where are you from"? the northern version of "you're not from 'round here, are you"?!

However, in all honesty - my pappy is from Louisiana and he STILL has that accent. My brother married a Louisiana girl and she has it too.

Here's one for the record books....
My sweet little 5 year old grand daughters Mum is Canadian. She spends her Christmas in Canada with her Grand Mother and Ganka. When she comes home, ever thing she says ends with the obligatory- A! So she winds up saying something with that sweet little southern drawl like, See y'all later, A! Now that one gets some strange looks here in onion city!

Lynnie, i will send it on up! it's let up at the moment, but it's supposed to crank up again tonight. i sleep with my snow blower, so i get a good deal!!(that would be my husband!) but, when he's gone, which seems to be for a lot of snow dumpings, it's all up to me!

oh, he's got his own wheels this week! the funny thing is, the NY state thru-way is clear and the sun is shinning in buffalo-45 minutes away, but we are cloudy and snowing! depending on which way the wind blows, lynnie may or may not get it! we're pretty much guaranteed!
