Denise - I've even ordered from their website because I was hooked on their Karma scent for a couple years. It is sooooo heady and exotic, isn't it?
Let's see - I love those bath bombs, but they are huge and I saw them in half. I tried one of their shampoo bars and one of their handlotion bars. The smell of that store is enough to make you fill up a bag of goodies, isn't it? I also get a kick out of the sales people they employ. It's like a trip back to the 70's.

Denise I am jealous....London WOW!!!!You are lucky and I would love to go but my dear hubby will not travel outside of the good ole USA....sigh.Have you ever been to Harrods?I saw it on a travel show and it looks like a great place to shop.

I wanna go to Europe soooo bad! I'm jealous too Denise! Speaking of Harrods, I used to work for a very big firm in DC, anyway, one of the managers that I worked with actually brought me back a gift from Harrods one year. She made the fatal mistake of leaving it on my desk one morning (I used to sit at an open cubicle that was basically along a hallway). So needless to say, I never did get that present, someone stole it. Doesn't that stink! I never found out who stole it obviously, and she never told me what she bought, I would have been too sick about it anyway. All the culprit had to see was that green and gold bag...The one time that I get a gift from Harrods!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
..But I am determined to get over there in 2006, it is one of my New Year's resolutions. And I will buy myself a gift from Harrods when I get there. I'd like to do London and Paris...

Denise!!!! Have you ever been to Hard Rock Cafe? The original one is in London. If you've been there, tell me all about it. I collect their City Pins and Pilsner glasses. When my Father In Law travels he picks them up for me. My (step) Mother In Law won a bid at a charity for a womens homeless shelter and inside was a HRC Shanghai pin! Guess what I got for Christmas that year? LOL
I hear it's really a neat place and a tad different from the rest of the ones because it was the first.

Moi..I acutally lived in London in 82 for 6months..I used to hang out at the Hard Rock all the time..that was before all the other ones opened and it became such a touristy thing..very cool place...when I go this year I will let you know and I will try to swing by and pick you up a pin. Lori and Joy..I actually lived about 3 blocks from Harrods and did my grocery shopping in their food hall! Boy times have changed! I doubt I would be able to afford that now! Anyway,..my beau and I both work for a British company so we go several times a year! We love doing our pub crawls and we are both theatre fans ..so we catch shows all the time. I will let you gals know the next time I am going..so if you need anything I can look for ya!

I wish that the times we were abroad, we were able to actually explore. We had to load into a city, do the shows, load out, hit the next city. Just like we toured here in the good old USA. You go to and through just about every nook and cranny, but you never get the time to enjoy any of it unless it is really close the the arena where your booked.
For those that may know, is "Lock, Stock, and Bagel" still open by the Garden in NYC? Man the best bagels on earth came from that place.
I also enjoyed going through grand central. Lots of interesting folks for those of us who enjoy people watching!

Barbara..my boyfriend and I are big concert goers..last year he walked into the office and said he picked up tickets to see Jeff Beck at the Royal Albert Hall....and a week later...we were on our way! It is lots of fun! This year we will more than likely get married...we keep saying we will do it in Italy...so we will see...maybe I will check concert listings in Rome..so we can kill 2 birds with 1 stone!
