Hi everyone,
I'm going through some really scary symptoms these past few weeks due to Lyme (very Parkinson's disease-like stuff). And my Lyme specialist and internist are battling out my next medications. My Lyme doctor is very knowledgeable and knows I need more aggressive treatment, but my internist is worried about the risks (especially given that I've already had liver damage from it all).
Anyway, each of you has already given me so much emotional support and prayers, that I know your thoughts are with me and I am not asking for more. I just wanted you to know that I may not feel up to posting everyday, so I didn't want you to worry. But please know that I do read the posts when I can and they bring me so much happiness! So I will post when I can, I will keep you updated on progress, and I will be cheering each of you on even if it's silently.
I've had a few backslides with my nails because of stress, but the nails that I've left alone are showing nice white tips. On some days I've only managed the NGF once a day, but I'm trying to keep to twice a day as much as possible. I think it's important to pursue healthy, positive pursuits at all times, and the NGF and this forum is such postive force!

Jill, this is really terrible to have 2 doctors wanting to do two different things for treatment for you. I know that Lyme disease is very serious. I will add you to my prayer list, and I hope you will be feeling better soon.
If there is anything I can do for you, please let me know. I wish you all the best and hope the medication helps immediately and does not cause you any adverse side effects.

Oh Jill, I've been thinking about you and wondering if you got any test results yet. I hope your doctors get their heads together and come up with just the right mix of meds that is safe AND effective. Till then, if you have to kick back and be kind to your body, please do take care of you!

Jill, please know we are with you in spirit. Check in with us as often as you feel comfortable. If we can do anything at all, just open your mouth and tell us what ever we need to do to make it better for you.

I just popped over to the Q board - I had not read them for
awhile and was thrilled to see so many new names that are
singing the praises of NGF!
