Since this is the eve of week 5 for me, and I have been just DYING to put some polish on, I bit the bullet this evening and did a french. I have a really short neat little french now. I feel a little more feminine with some polish.
Anyhoo, thanks for a fanatastic product Barbara. And yes ma'am, I did put the NGF on my cuticles immediately after the polish dried! :o)

But I promise, if I see them begin to get overly dry, I will take this polish off quick fast! I will take care of them. It is nice to be natural again!
I am totally into NGF now, so I will still do at least twice a day, I can't get enough of the stuff...

They really are much, much stronger Lynnie. Nothing like when I took the acylics off. I've posted before that I have pretty good nails, I would become impatient with them, which is why I turned to acrylics.
While I can go "seasons" without polish, I can not and will not tell anybody that I will always be completely polish free. According to Barb's directions, I stayed polish free for the 30 days to allow the formula to really penetrate the nails and nailbed. So now I want to do a little polish for the holidays. But, I probably will go polish free for a while after the New Year.
And you should see how nice and pink my nail beds look, I look like I have a "natural" color on with my white tips, when all that I have on is white tips with clear polish.

Morning ladies!
I just can't get over how wonderful this product is. I had a bad week last week and filed my nails down as far as I could so I wouldn't pick at them. I get up today and there are those lovely white tips showing thier little tippiness! It's just amazing. That's the only thing I can say.

I know, I know, I'm hard headed, please forgive me...I just HAD to have polish, but now I see the difference in my nails with polish on for a couple of days...this has been an interesting experiment, now I understand how drying nail polish is, some of my nail tips are weaker after just a couple of days; much more so than without polish. Now I just have to hope and pray that I don't break any before I get home tonight and get this stuff off...
...Maybe I'll try for polish in another couple of months, after they are stronger yet? Maybe Valentine's Day...
...Maybe I'll actually have nails and a date on Valentine's Day!
Oh please, I couldn't handle it!

Joy, is this a case of 'the grass is always greener' or 'the nails are always prettier when polished' then you see that your nails are just as lovely without the polish? LOL Sorry, I couldn't think of any other analogy.
I wish people could really see what so many of us have seen... NGF works!!! I hesitate posting about it over on the Q because I feel like no one believes and must think we are all share holders or something. But then I see new posts pop up and more and more people who broke down and tried it are impressed with it. That makes me feel better about it all.

Actually, your analogy works, I think it is psychological for a lot of us that we think painted nails look better than our own natural nails- when well manicured of course.
I think we have been doing a good job of being honest about our results and letting the ladies know that NGF really is working for us; there will always be skeptics, I say too each her own. But another caution too is that due to every individual being different, everyone is not going to see the exact same results at the same rate of usage, know what I mean? Like you said, many people are trying it. If some of these ladies are willing to spend $50+tax for a prostrong kit, and $27+tax for tips, then they surely can try NGF. I frankly never paid that much for either of those products, but a lot of ladies out there do. And they still aren't satisfied...

Joy, I was one of the $50 Pro Strong ladies. It was on easy pay (as if that means it wasn't $50 LOL) and I wanted so badly to be rid of the acrylics. I didn't set my goal too high. I wanted neater nails, even if they were short. But you're right... if someone can drop $50 on PS, a trial size jar of NGF is not a huge investment but it sure lasts longer than the PS did.
At one point I wanted to try TIPS because it was cheaper, but Karen (the TIPS lady) drove me batty with her constant :::taptaptaptaptaptaptapping:::
I know that wouldn't have made a difference in how the product worked, but it just drove me insane. I had to turn off Q when she came on :(
I mean look, afterall, Barb has that HEAVY southern accent and it hasn't made her product any less effective, has it???
