You aren't overstepping any line. I thought maybe that person had been banished and had a new name, but I found out I was wrong. I am sometimes naive and try to give people the benefit, and I make mistakes, HUGE ones.

Barbara, there was a great deal of NASTY activity on the Dark Side yesterday, and one of the NASTY people took the name of a poster, and I thought that this person, who I responded to today, was someone who had been nice in the past, but because of yesterday, got booted and came back with a new name. However, I was wrong, and I probably made a mistake by answering her. I avoided the situation yesterday, and how naive I am to think that some people who really aren't nice, are others who are nice.
Does this make any more sense, or do you wish you were still in Dublin??? LOL!!! I know it sounds confusing, and it is. I just answered someone who could be trouble, and I won't get hurt because I won't answer her again.

There is a new username at qvc this morning. At first blush they are coming across as pleasant and karen was engaging in some chat. I read there often, for the laughs, but there has been some real nastiness the last while, karen missed a lot of it in the time that she was off-line; and I am VERY distrustful of the "NEW" (likely not new, only the name...). Sad, really. In the past, distrustful is not a word I would have ever used to describe myself.
I wonder if it is just the unattainable expectations of the Holidays that bring out the worst in people? Whatever the trigger is, they are swarming to the qvc site, itching to cause mayhem.
Thank-you for your reassurance on the other thread....the 40ish/50ish thing. I'm seeing your words play out in my older sister, my mom, and a couple of good friends that have the jump on me. They are gettin' on with gettin' on just fine; I daresay I will survive!

lark, I appreciate you looking out for me, and there are times I truly am too trusting, and other times when I am really paranoid. I usually am skeptical, but I made an incorrect decision this morning, and I know that I have made this a big mistake. I even think that now she is Gloria, and I don't even know that is true!

I had been peeping around there this week, I saw the most outrageous posts I have EVER seen over the past few days.
You guys be careful. Even though it is just cyberspace, feeling are feelings, and I saw that one person call some of the ladies the NASTIEST names on the face of the Earth. It doesn't get any nastier. And the craziest thing about it was that the web guy left that crap up for days, meanwhile he's deleting our threads. Go figure.

Joy, I tried to stay out of the melee yesterday, and then this morning I thought Jerzegirl was Jerz_girl, and she has always been nice, so I thought I would give her the benefit of the doubt. I thought because of the trouble yesterday, they may have booted her and she had to change her name. My mistake! I am trying to only answer positive postings, and to be nice, and I guess I can't do that on the DARK SIDE!!
