You go, girl! Congrats on forging ahead with the Oprah idea. Nothing ventured, nothing gained, right?
I understand what you said earlier about not knowing if you would be ready for that sort of exposure/success, but I can't help but think about Leslie Blodgett (Bare Minerals) who probably started out in her kitchen. Her foundation was recently voted Foundation of the Year by Glamour Mag and she is on Oprah's favorites list. Yet, when I see her present her product, it's clear to me that she hasn't forgotten her original intent - to make women feel good and put their best face forward. She hasn't lost that personal touch and names many of her eyeshadow shades after devoted customers. You wouldn't lose sight of that either.
Anyway, I'm proud of you for putting yourself really out there.

Lynnie, I agree completely with you. Barbara has our nails in mind, and I think that is one of the best things about starting with NGF and meeting Barbara.
Barb, you care about us, and are like "our leader" caring where we are, and if we are here, and hoping we are well and happy, and you are more than just a "vendor" of our favorite beauty product, you have become our friend! You are really a sweetheart, and I hope you do hear from Oprah. That would make me so happy to have a positive response to you, and it seems everything Oprah touches turns to gold!! I hope that happens to NGF!!! I know that I and the other ladies on this forum want only the very best for you!!!

This is all so overwhelming. You guys have touched my life in ways you can not even imagine. Thank you for your suppourt of our little product line. It is so gratifying to know that the product is having such an overwhelmingly positive response.
We will just see how this all plays out.

You ladies can go sit on that stage all you want to. I really do HATE cameras. One of the most upsetting argument my hubby and I ever had was about a photograpic attempt. Not something lude, it was completely puclic and in broad open daylight, and there must have been 1500 people around at the point in the day...So I will just go sit in her green room and watch while you get that face out there! And Moi can be the first on on the stage and the last one to leave. That will of course give her that extra earned minute!

Oh my gosh! I don't know what to say. Can I have little streamers hanging off my wheelchair handles? And maybe some of those spiffy little flashing lights on the wheels? And a horn?!?!?! Can I please have a horn??? I promise I won't honk it... much. Oh, how exciting.
Really, Barb, this is exciting. You'll get worldwide exposure and then some other shopping channel whose name will go unmentioned :::coughQcough::: will come begging you to sign with them ;)
