Subject: Holiday Goodies
Message: Apologies, Barbara, if I shouldn't have brought this back! I'm seeing some new faces here, and thinking that this time of year such a wealth of *goodies* should get a chance to shine. :^ )
Karen, it's been nice to see you back on-line!
One of the ladies here, kbd1225 (aka Karen!) spent MANY hours organizing this collection of recipes. They were posted to a cooking thread on another forum. Karen, and another member there--adeli, decided to save the thread from certain extinction at the whims of that community's webmaster; this pdf document is the result. Enjoy.

Paste the url into your browser. Click on, and download acrobat 7 first. That takes quite a long while. Patience is rewarded with some tasty eats! ;^ )

Message: I second that. It's a terrific compilation of recipes from a bunch of the ladies that post over on the cooking board at Q. :::ducking so Barb can't smack me::: ;) Just kidding Barb, you know I love you! I can't believe all the work that went into it. I honestly think it rivals many of the cookbooks I've seen in the bookstores. Of course it was put together on a limited budget, I think they had $0.00 to spend, but it's amazing as are the ladies, Karen and Adeli, that put it together!

Message: Hi ladies!
Cheryl, I'm jealous of you and a "2 sec" ANYTHING computer related.
My time factor relates to being the last house, at the end of a loooong country road, 20 miles to pavement, 60 miles to "town", and the world's slowest most basic dial-up.......the informationbarelytherehighway! I am learning patience! :^ )
But, ya gotta love the BIG SKY COUNTRY! If my dogs ever do run off it'll be at least three days before I can't see what they're up to,LOL!

Message: LP,
we just changed over to DSL and it is so stinkin' fast! dial-up was just painfully slow and i live a 1/2 mile from the telephone co.! some rather involved stuff it just wouldn't download. there are some days i wouldn't mind being out in the country, but then i get three feet of snow, in one night, and remember why this southern girl lives in town! i guess i just like my village lights and snow plows!! when my black lab wanders around, visiting, but not crossing streets, everybody knows where she belongs! how long have you lived in, Montana, is it?

Message: Oh Lark, embrace those 50ish years, they only make life sweeter. You finally understand what's really important, even when your first inclination might be to jump at shadows. You learn to grab hold with both hands and enjoy the best rides of your life. I'm loving looking forward to those 60ish numbers now!
