I too have the one minute manicure, and the crabtree and Evelyn hand scrub, and one by mary kay, avon , Arbonne , Sephora and some other one I am to lazy to go look at and share the name! I guess I need to learn to say no to Hand scrubs! Barbara, if you make one...I will certainly buy it! What do you say?

Gosh, Barb. Just put the buffing cream in a bigger jar and you're set to go! Like I said in my other post, I use it on the area all around my nails when I'm rubbing in the buffing cream. Oh my gosh, I just realized what I'm saying... I rub the buffing cream and buff the rubbing cream. And even though there's hardly anything left on my fingertips after using the NGF, I run my fingers through my hair cuz I figure, why not? You can't even tell I did it, but hey, it couldn't hurt, could it?
Come to think of it, I use hair conditioner instead of shaving gel on my legs.
I use the Alpha Hydrox Souffle on my face, hands and elbows.
I bet if I really sat down and thought about it I could come up with several things I use for something other than what they were intended for. You know why? 'Cuz I'm CHEAP!

That is an idea though, about barbara making the scrub...I almost wish that I could get all my beauty products through Barbara. She is just so darned nice! And such a pleasure to do business with...
But wait...what happens when she decides to retire or something, then what will we ever do? You can't ever retire Barb, man would we miss you!

Joy, no reason to be concerned there! Who do I know personally that can actually afford to retire from anything. Certainly no ME!

The last "vacation" we took was in 1979. We were between show dates and had done the Sportatorium in Hollywood Florida. We had two days to make the gig in Greensboro NC, so we rented a boad and went deep sea fishing for a day. That was wonderful! Running your own business does not generally allow for down time. Besides, I would be late getting orders out, then my customer service would suck! LOUD!

my mom, who is finally retired, owned her florist for 30 years and went for decades without a vacation. everyone thinks owning a business gives you freedom, but it doesn't. if you're not there to take up the slack, then who will? she worked way too hard. but on a better note, she is now married, after being widowed for 3 years, to a great man and doing everthing she missed out on all those years. she's financially taken care of and better than that, she's happy and has found the love of her life.

That is awesome! Your mum probably understands better than the average booboo about working hard and living well! Living well doesn't always entail tons of money. It's like you say, she is married after years of alone, and satisfied that life gave her another chance at a blessed union! Same thing happened to me mum. After my dad passed, she was miserable. Then along came an old friend that had loved her from afar for years. It happened that they were so right for one another it was a bit spooky at first. She was content until the day she passed, and how blessed to have not just one but two solid marriages in one life span!

Well, I say a BIG God bless you, to Barb and Red, and people like your mom too Cheryl, that are so dedicated to what they do. It's one of the reasons why I've begun to seek out some of the "smaller" businesses, these people will listen when we make requests like "hand cream" and "hand scrub" (hint, hint Barabara--I know, I know, you told me the story about the hand cream deal)! :o) They also do customer service so well, that's why you just really don't want to do business anywhere else.
