Message: Gee, this thread look lonely! Here's another tip for yellow nails. Sally's Beauty Supply sells some sort of effervescent tablets to whiten them. Well, my guess is they are the same as Efferdent tablets and have read that people use them. I have and it does work. But this could be drying and I'd only do this when my nails are in really good shape to begin with, then I would follow with cream. Other methods like bleach or lemon juice are probably more drying.

Message: I had to laugh when I read 4 1/2. Thanks for the many laughs and lots of information today. Oh, and BTW - it has been almost a week since I had a bleeding cuticle. That darn pickin'.

Message: Hi all! Make your own "handscrub".....in a pretty bottle, mix some organic pure soybean oil dressed up with your favorite fragrance essential oils. (Get these from your natural foods store.) Have granulated sugar on the vanity in a nice shaker top jar. I like to use "Sugar In The Raw", more great aroma! When you want to scrub, take a pile of sugar in your hand, pour on as much oil as you like, scrub, massage (gently push your cuticles back yet again !), rinse in warm water. Relax, enjoy a few minutes of "me" time. Now, since meeting Barbara, take 10 MORE minutes of "me" time and use the NGF. Lastly...to the jewelry box...put on a really great ring or bracelet...or both!
Lookin' GOOD, ladies! lol ;^ )

Message: Well that ends the issue for us having to develop something! Hi Lark, great idea only I would use sea salt as the key so that it will help with the healing process. The raw sugar is a great fragrance factor though!

Message: I do use the salt scrub, One Minute Miracle, occasionally. Some days though, the salt is too aggressive and leaves my hands a liitle sore. Sugar also gives a wee bit of an alphahydroxy type benefit.
Colleen Lopez used to feature One Minute Miracle in her host pick shows on HSN. Then Toni B. came on as a vendor and they really push the Sea Secret...I imagine she replicated OMM. She often brings it on air as a 2 for 1 offer. I get OMM, in my home town, at my hair gal's shop. Like to give her my business, don't mind paying a little bit more. A jar of OMM lasts a loooong time. :^ )
