Subject: peeling nails
Message: Lynnie, your nails will stop peeling with NGF! There is no doubt in my mind about this! I tried so many nail products that went on and on about making your nails harder and stronger..none of them addressed the peeling situation. Anytime I got a white tip it would peel and then break off! I would say within 1 week of using NGF the peeling was under control. I still break a nail now and then..but after all it is just that a nail, and I know it will grow back very quickly! Good Luck!

Message: Denise, wouldn't you say that somehow, and maybe Barbara and/or Cheryl will jump in here, the NGF causes the nail to "seal" so that you are no longer as prone to the peeling issue anymore? That is what I have been noticing with mine so far. Even though I have always had good nails, I found that if I spent any significant time with my hands in water, or doing stuff around the house, they will instantly begin to lose moisture and start to split and peel. But now since finding this product, I don't have to worry about losing moisture! I never realized how important proper moisture balance plays in good nails! (And hair and skin for that matter, but that is another thread!)

Message:
joy,you did quite nicely!
ladies,
the added moisture to my cuticles i noticed immediately after i started using it. but, over the months and years since, the sealing and moisture balance becomes the main benefit. when products say they have a cummulative effect i tend to shy away, because they don't come through. the NGF really is cummulative just like barbara says. the longer you use this product the stronger and healthier the nails become. more resistant to breaking if you whack them, no more peeling, just healthier, pinker nail beds and cuticles. my expectations tend to be pretty high when it comes to hair, skin and nail products and i have never experienced a product such as this or believed in the worth of a product so deeply.

Message: This has nothing to do with peeling nails, but I am amazed none the less. I am using IE to browse your site, Barb and when I scroll up and down this page, the background stays in place and the posts move. When using Mozilla, the background AND the posts move.
Do you suppose NGF has improved my eyesight?? ;)

Message: Well, Ladies, now you have me REALLY anxious for my order, as I just broke another one while in the cellar rummaging through Christmas stuff. Nice to hear about the sealing. Sometimes a nail will peel AFTER I've filed it. Filing is NOT stressful to a nail if done gently and in one direction. I guess it's only stressful if the nail isn't strong to begin with.

Message: The filing will in fact cause stress fractures which weaken the very structure. That is why the Wonderstone File is so beneficial. It seals the tip of the nails, further reducing the natural moisture loss, while reducing the stress factor. You keep the file moistened through out the filing process to ensure the best possible results.
