Message: Sharlene,
are you talking about hangnails? if so, they should be clipped with fingernail clippers and never pulled or torn off. your nails and cuticles are dry and need to be hydrated. look into the Nail Growth Formula found on this site, read some of the posts and go to the home page and read some very good information about it. info is free and always good to have.

Message: Sharlene,
If you want us to help with what ever the problem may be we will need you to correspond with us. I, like Cheryl, will assume, at this point, you are describing hangnails. Cheryls advise is right on the money. Clip off the hardened bits with a high quality, clean cutting nail clipper. Make certain to dip the clippers into a bit of alcohol before clipping the problem areas. Concentrate on keeping the cuticles hydrated so that that tissue will remain supple and pliable. This will eliminate the need to clip again!
