Subject: ZAPPED/POOFED AGAIN
Message: Well ladies they really don't like us over there do they?
Thanks for letting me know Joy!
It's ok though, we are all still here!
I will be interested to see when they come up with a "Nail Growth" Cream! Makes one wonder doesn't it!
Moi, your turkey will be ready Thursday morning. Come on down!
Faith is going to fry a turkey too! OH JUST HOW MUCH CAN ANY ONE HUMAN EAT IN A 24 HOUR TIME SPAN?

Message: I personally prefer all of your company over here anyway. I am completely turned off by the Q. They won't get another dime of my money!

Message: I had created another name after UniquelyMoi got banned from the Q boards and I never posted a thing about NGF and they still removed my new name too.
I guess they figure 'once a problem, always a problem'. But, you can create name after name and even if you dont' post you can read the threads. There are so many sweet ladies over there! I've learned a lot from the Q boards and made lot's of friendships. I wish they didn't 'have it in' for me. LOL

Message: Unfortunately, I am pretty much done with QVC. We haven't done anything to hurt or desparage anyone, and yet we are being "censored" for some strange reason. You are right Moi, there are a lot of really nice ladies over there, you and the rest of the Q gang here among them, but I am choosing not to participate there anymore.

Message: I thought that the demise of the Advise button would be the end
of the poofing, but obviously not. But it's pretty clear that it was
just one or perhaps a handful of people who had a problem with
the NGF thread. Fortunately, I think the majority of people are
pretty nice, and I've had some fun and informative interactions
on everything from apparel to health on the QVC boards, so I
hope that most of my experiences there will continue to be
good. But this has certainly been a learning experience! I never
would have believed that a bulletin board devoted to shopping
could be so intense had I not seen it myself! Thank goodness we
have our forum here where we don't have to feel under attack.

Message: It was Joy that pointed out to me that she thought they may in fact come out with their own product line in competition with our product. I think that is a very valid point. It will be interesting to watch. They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. I beg to differ in some instances. We worked really hard to perfect this formula and I am getting just a bit jittery about the true value of the internet right about now. Not to mention all of the work that went into getting our web site up and running. It has been like a baby to us. Now she seems to be taking on legs.
Who has money to fight those corporate types to keep something you worked so long and hard for? And they know that! But I am just jumping at shadows aren't I? Even if we get flushed tomorrow, I will have to say, this has all been an adventure and I have met some really wonderful people here.

Message: cheryl,
Patents on these types of products are worthless. Like with recipes for katsup, or mustard, or any other of those types of products. They only cost a lot. They are no real protection. All anyone has to do is change 1 ingredient in the slightest way and you can do absolutely nothing about it! So the big companies get a trademark on a name.
When we first started doing this I was not savvy to the mass market place at all. If I had known about not being able to trademark the name I might have considered something that could have been marked. We tried, and failed to Trademark the name! You can not trade mark a generic name like fingernailcare or natural nails. So I can only hope that my customers will appreciate the customer service and continue to order from us.
Though large corporations can get the prices down so that I could not compete. They can probably buy in such huge bulk purchases, the price could be reduced to the point that it would drive me right out of the market.
