Why do you all think they wear those masks? They are not performing surgery. They are setting you up to potentially need some kind of medical treatment though. Non of them wear the nails either! Why is that?

We were on the same page Barb, 'cause I just posted a part two to the same thread LOL! But you are right, the techs wear masks, and we foolishly wore the nails! Its all about the money. There is way too much money to be made. The nail industry is HUGE now. These techs would even put their own lives at risk, just to make this fast money now. It is sad beyond words.

Do you want to know something really scary?When I got married three years ago my wonderful husband told me to quit work...I was a police dispacther for 10 years and with the stress and low pay my husband said enough please quit.My hair stylist lost her nail tech and was begging me to take the course and work for her...boy did I come close and then thought wait what am I doing here! I told her no way after what I had went through with wearing acrylics for years.Thank goodness I came ot my senses.

Barbara they are ready to scratch...I cannot believe how long they are getting and the other day I scratched my husband by accident reaching for something and he said gee watch out for cat woman.LOL...he did say that my nails have never lookd better!

Barbara yesterday I could not believe something that I did..I went to Sally's Beauty supply to get my mom some shampoo she likes from there and this lady was asking the sales girl about what is good for nails because after Christmas she is having her acrylics removed..said she wore them for 10 years and it was time to give them up...so I told her about the NGF and she said she would look it up and especially with us living in Tenn and you being next to us.When I left I thought WOW I have never done that before...just walked up to someone and told them about a product I used...so I hope she does come to the boards and she was a very nice lady.
