 Subject: What Are You Thankful For?

I was thinking it would be nice to share some Thanksgiving thankfulness stories.
One of the things I am very thankful for, and have taken for granted, are my pioneer ancestors. I have been doing my genealogy and on a census report I came across, one of my ancestors had given birth to 9 children and only 3 were still living. What pain that must be. I am soooo thankful I have never had to endure that, and thankful that even though she did - she never gave up!
I myself am very thankful for my friends and family.
I am thankful I have found all of you, here on the board and over on the Q.
I am thankful that cheryl found her kitty, and that so many of us will have lovely nails for Christmas. ;)

AMEN! One of the things that I am most thankful for is my family. I come from a large family - 5 brothers and 2 sisters, 3 children, 4 living grandchildren, 1 grandchild who is an angel in heaven. My husband has 4 brothers. My mother will be 73 in January. I amthankful for them all.
I am thankful for the freedom to be able to pray in public if that is what I choose to do.
I am thankful for the ability to be able work everyday and help my husband provide for our beautiful.
I am thankful to be blessed enough to share what God has given us with those less fortunatue.
I could go on and on, but thought I better save room for someone else.

i am thankful for a warm home, even in the middle of a blizzard today! a loving, wonderful, husband who also happens to be a great maintenance man, and 4 beautiful, safe and sound animals who allow us to share their lives. i am especially grateful for my good health.

On a serious note...
I am thankful for my family, loving hubby, 5 healthy beautiful children, and my 11 grand babies.
I am thankful for my health and the health of my family and friends.
I am thankful for my friends. I have known this all my life but it has been shown to me recently in ways I never quite felt before, and for that I am thankful.
I am thankful for a continuing lively hood that allows me to meet so many wonderful people.
I am thankful for being able to help others where and when I can.
I am thankful for a creator that brought so much fullness into my life it is sometimes overwhelming.
I am thankful for LIFE!

I am thankful for my wonderful handworking husband, our family and friends. I am thankful that my Mom has had 79 years here, my MIL has had 76 and my FIL has had 82 and hopefully many more. I am thankful for my little 5 year old nephew and for all of the fun and joy he has brought into the family. I am thankful for our freedom and for everyone that is responsible for it. I am thankful for my health and being able to enjoy my many blessings.

What a wonderful thread ya'll! I am thankful for my mom & dad and my sis (we are a small immediate family, but large extended family). Last year at this time, the doctors told us that my mom would only have 2 months to live, girls, God is so good. My mom is still here and doing FANTASTIC, so I certainly thank my Savior for that.
It has been a tough year for me in other ways, I am just so thankful just to be alive; just to live and see another day, is a blessing that no one should ever take for granted. And I sure am thankful for finding out about NGF and meeting some really terrific ladies.
Ok, I'll stop now, I am in my office still, and I might start crying! :o) We really have so much to be thankful for, especially when we look at all the hurricanes, the floods up north, then these tornadoes, tsunamis, earthquakes--WOW!
