Joy and Barbara, I found this out in May, and all you have to do is hit the Advise Button, and it is an instant Red Flag, even if you haven't said anything wrong! There is no review, no recourse, just someone seeing your name and hitting the advise button and you are history. That's why I sent all my stuff back (the recent stuff anyway, I would have had to have a moving van to get everything back to QVC), and told them I wanted it reviewed. I believe others complained and this person disappeared as her name at that time. She has come back though under different names, Crewel for one, but she is easily recognizable just by the things she says, and her demeanor! Sweet one minute, nasty the next and very confrontational. I learned in May that when I see her appearing again, under any name, I stay far away from her, and any opinion or comments she has to say! She and others do troll to look for confrontations, and are very negative when the post, and want to get this confrontation started.
I think it's unfair that one person can just remove your posting and get you in bad standing on the boards with the touch of the advise button, but that's how it is, unless you complain. It seems to me though, that the NGF threads are lasting longer, since we said we like the other information we get from the AH and other threads.

Sheltie, after what I just posted here, I'm sure I will be "zapped" over there, just by my name, and not what I say. I had to say it here though because you ladies are so nice, and I don't want what happened to me in May to happen to all of you. It was really not nice and that button was all it took.

Well ladies, maybe we could get a weekly thread going like the AH posters? I know you guys post there also, like you had been saying before Karen, I have learned tons of info from reading your AH posts, in fact, (this is off topic, but..) my Rite Aid finally got the new generation AH products, and I may try the souffle this week...
I am just praying that you are not zapped. I know you'll keep us informed if anything should happen.

Moi started a thread several times, and people come on there and say we are "violating community standards" but the other ladies aren't. I don't want the other ladies to be zapped, but someone keeps doing it to NGF threads, and now we know that it's just the "advise" button that gets pushed. The last 2 NGF threads are still there, so maybe we "flew under the radar" and others are being more accepting of our praise of this product. Let's hope so, because love all of the discussions of all of the products. I can't wait to bet the BOGO sale tomorrow for the Revlon lipsticks, which I wouldn't have known about had the ladies on the BB threads mentioned it. I think you and the rest of the ladies agree that all we want is peace and sharing of ideas, and respect from posters. We all agree that this isn't too much too ask from the QBBs.

Yes you are right. That is what the BB's are all about, just giving great ideas about products and techniques. Just unfortunate that we can't necessarily share like everybody else. But, no worries. If people ask about advice for nail issues, or anything else for that matter, I am happy to share.

deedeejune, someone over there must just keep hitting the ADVISE button, and we disappear. I don't know why either, because we are no different from the AH ladies, the Revlon Threads, greencream, and all the other threads that discuss beauty products. The AH ladies seem to like us, and there just must be someone over there who thinks we are some kind of "cult" (only kidding), and doesn't want us to post. It is a shame, because NGF is so good, and more people should know about it to save themselves money, and damaged nails. I feel terrible for Barbara and Moi, because they can't even get on over there because of this "pressing of the Advise button." It truly is a shame and rather mean spirited.

Well I was ugly last night so I hit that dreaded ADVISE button on 2 of them. I guess we could actually play their game by their own rules. Everytime one of them gave off CRAP, just don't respond but hit advise! How do you think they will respond to being zapped every time they came on to the thread an made confrontational comments, and POOF THEY WERE OUT OF THERE?

Just a side note about being conformational and zapping someone off with that ADVISE button. I am certain they are probably monitoring us, weather here or over there. So I will just state this so everyone will know where I am. I honestly sent an offering out to Rita this morning before I left. NO RESPONSE! YET! 'Deb' is in paradise. Is there any connection there. And Rita, just let us know you are here and well, and I will humble myself and apologize for thinking you and Deb were in fact one in the same. I just would appreciate clarification! Thanks...........

Ok I am just going to say it ladies...maybe they feel this product is a threat because it really works!TIPS and Prostrong are a joke...I can say this because I have used both of these products and recieved poor results...might as well had my dog snot on my nails and rub it in....ok I am going overboard on that but I think you get the jest.QVC sells alot of these overpriced nail products and bottom line they do not work like the NGF does.
