Boy you can get your backside in trouble over there! If any body is looking to just get on the internet and fight, the QVC boards are the place to be!
How is so many of you really sweet ladies are over there. Was there just no place else to go?
I asked someone named "smoochy" why she was using so many products at one time, and which of them may in fact acturally worked.
Man please. after 80+ years I don't think I can ever recally so many rude people in such a confined area.
OK I am now off MY SOAP BOX!

Margie, so sorry that happened. I was following the discussion and I saw what you asked Smoochy, and I saw this other woman's response to you. Unfortunately people are taking our excitement and enthusiasm for the product way out of line and context. I like you guys, you seem to be a great bunch of ladies, so I am happy to post about the product, and I enjoy sharing with you all. Any time other posters see certain posters "congregating" around a certain topic or even a "brand" like NGF, the other posters who are not involved in the discussion, or who don't use the particular product tend to begin to label and shoot accusations. Like this woman who said that a couple of the posters for NGF act like they are "prostelyzing". So, sadly, for your own sanity, you may have to disengage in any discussions with these people about this product. It is rather sad because I have noticed other threads like the "AH" ones thrive on the BB, but they just won't leave the NGF discussion alone. I want to jump in and reply to this chick, but I am reluctant to because I don't want to start any trouble for Barbara or any of us. I can be a "spitfire" when I have to be, I really thought that that statement was uncalled for!

I really think if everyone of us were to join in on countering her attacks, or any bodies attacks, on the way we feel about the product we are using, and not just allow them to rape and pillage our strings over there, one of two things will happen. We play nice and allow them to spew the venom, and we continue with a sense and sensibility type response. Be polite but state our case definitively. They tend to try to intimidate us and if we don't just sit by and become mutes at their whim and beckon call, they can not over power us.
I have been watching the way they work and from my many years, one thing stands out. If you just sit back and shut up, the NAZI will take over. And that is not going to happen if I can do anything about it. So lets not give in to them.

Hey Margie thanks fo the puppies website...they are soooo adorable!!Love them in the pool.
I have only been psoting a couple of months and have learned that most people are really nice and want to share helpful info but there are some mean and miserable women on those boards also..they think they are still in Jr High!That Smoochy is the one that was a rude to Barbara before and started trouble..I think she is one miserable person if you ask me. I have met some really wonderful women on the boards..I have just learned to ignore alot of them because they seem to thrive on starting trouble.This is why I am so glad I can come here and enjoy posting.
And Joy you go girl!!!I know exactly what you mean..we just need to be grateful Barbara lets us post over here..she is a sweetie!

I've been reading the qvc forum since July. In a million years I wouldn't post there . . . . the sharks never sleep! Circle and circle and circle waiting for fresh prey! You ladies that do post, and have somehow managed to keep your skins intact . . . don't even acknowlege the sharks. I do enjoy reading though. Lots of good stuff there. This NGF being one of my best discoveries! Thanks dapme! And UniquelyMoi, if you happen to read this, did you EVER get your eyelashes goin' on? Your thread a while ago about the stickky little b*ggers gave me a good laugh! Have a great day all! :^ )

Hi anonymous! No, I never did get my eyelashes on right. I used something that was recommended on the board and that helps, but I still look like the crown on the statue of liberty :p
The UniquelyMoi name got banned from the Q boards but I still do not know why other than I posted about NGF there. So I post from time to time but you're right... it's like a feeding frenzy for sharks and so I avoid it unless I am sure my posts will not be attacked.
So, do I get to have a hint about who you are? ;)

Been missing you girl! I got me that new Sunday suit I told you about. My hubby is insistent about me upgrading my wardrobe and I am eating this up! But I am not surprised, he has always been the one who insists on me having the things I need, weather I know I need them or not!

Margie,I made an attempt to "diffuse" smoochy without answering her direcly, and I hope it helped. I agree with you, why do they have to "attack" a posting and not contribute anything positive. If they want to be that miserable, there are plenty of negative threads out there they could post on. It seems to me that poor Lisa Robertson gets enough bad things said about her, and I feel terrible about that, whether people like her or not. I like her.
