Subject: Buffering Cream
Message: Barbara I used the buffering cream and love it!Also thank you for your help with my order and I promise one day I will learn to spell my name..well maybe one day..LOL!
My question is that I am not wearing any nail polish anymore and do not even want to...you have spoiled me on that...it is so nice to not have to fool with nail polish or remover. Will the buffering cream protect my nails if I use it weekly?I am still using the NGF twice a day even though I have passed my 30 days because I am afraid that if I do not that they will start peeling and breaking again...I know it sounds strange but for the first time I have beautiful nails and do not want to lose that. Also is once a week enough on the buffering cream or do I need to apply more since I do not wear polish anymore?
Thanks
Lori

Here is the deal. The buffing cream is specifically designed to remove surface imperfections. The Growth Formula is to increase cell activity. They will in fact both protect against excessive moisture, but you need to be cautious about using the abrasive too often. You can use the formula as often as you like, not just 1 or 2 times daily. I have several girls that replaced their chewing habit with a rubbing habit just to end the cycle of nail biting. And now they all have beautiful nails. So use it as often as you like. Now you just don't HAVE to do it 2Xs daily. You can cut back to 1 time for a while. Just see how that works, but just do what ever you are comfortable with.

Message: Hey there Sheltie!
I just recently started using the buffing cream to help get rid of my nasty ridges that chip and peel so bad. It's helping some but the only thing that will REALLY help is time and growth... oh, and NOT grating my nails on the grater ;)

Message: Sheltie, glad to see you are getting well enough to post a little. Glad you are on the road to recovery.
I used the buffing cream 3 times in the first 3 weeks, and used it very lightly, both in how much buffing cream I put on my nail and the use of the buffer, and my ridges are BARELY visible. I listened to what Barbara said about the light touch of the buffer, and it really does work. My nails look NORMAL for the first time in my life and have some substance to them. Again, though, I didn't come from acrylic nails to NGF, but my nails were really terrible. I have not had any breakage since week one when I had a small horizontal break at the tip of one nail. They are finally even in length, and look beautiful.
Hope this helps some on the use of the buffing cream, and my experience with it. Barbara is the expert, and I listened to her.
