I also found out about this product on the Q board. I am sorry that you all had problems there. I post only if I can make a positive statement, I refuse to play their miserable little games and bring myself down. I am thankful to Moi for letting us all know about the product. I had acrylics for about 12 years until this past July so my nails have recovered some what. I keep them short for work and am glad that short nails are finally in style. My cuticles are and have always been the problem with the splits, dryness and little snags. I picked up my kit at the post office on Sunday and used it for the first time on Sunday night and I noticed a difference almost immediately. It is now Tuesday and I can't believe how much better my cuticles are so last night I started using it on my toes. Barbara, thanks for a wonderful product! I am just sitting here thinking about all of the money I wasted on getting these nails and fill-ins and all of the products that I have bought in the past that never worked. This includes Tips & Pro-Strong which only made things worse. Thanks again for great results already!!

I'm glad you're loving the product and that I was able to help you out. UniquelyMoi, the name, was banned from the Q board, but I am still there posting from time to time. I am still not sure what caused Q to feel that UniquelyMoi needed to be removed from their boards, but no matter. I am just so happy when I read that more and more ladies, just like us, have found and love NGF.
I too used ProStrong and it was okay. It didn't do any damage to my nails, but didn't give me the fabulous results I see with NGF. One problem with the ProStrong was that it dried out my cuticles. I called their CS and was told that I need to avoid getting it there on the cuticles so I tried to be more careful but it didn't help. I initially began using NGF to suppliment the PS, to add moisture back to the cuticle area. I found the NGF to be so much more effective that I don't need the PS at all anymore.
Please keep us posted on your progress and drop by to say hi any time! Lot's of friendships have been formed on these pages. :)

I recognize your name from the Q boards. Over there, I'm GemJill. I, too, am grateful to all the great ladies who posted their inspiring stories of rapid improvement on the NGF. I'm just celebrating my first week and the main change is that my nails stay so well-hydrated now. My nails, which have always been strong but dry, brittle and break/split easily, showed no improvement on Tips, Pro-Strong or the myriad of drug store and health food store products I used. So for me to see this improvement in days is remarkable. Now I'm just waiting for that growth spurt which I know will come.
Yes, the Q boards have been quite an experience in terms of seeing the best and worst of personality types. When I first started posting, I wrote something very compassionate about a host and got jumped all over by someone. So even when we are being positive, you never know the reaction to expect. But Moi was always one of my great inspirations on Q, whether about NGF or any topic. I do recognize her writing there now, even under her nom de plume, which is nice, but at least we can all congregate here!

One of the first threads I read over there was about the Katrina Pin. Do you remember that fiasco? LOL
I never in my life thought I would see such bickering!! Thank goodness I had found the AH thread first and saw that not all were like the ones complaining about Katrina Pin.

Nice to see so many names that I recognize from the Q, I've seen some of your posts too Scarlett. And yours too Jill! And of course Moi! Just dropping by to let you know that it really is true about the hydration, after two days of using the NGF, my cuticles are looking fantastic! You guys also talk about the "pinkness" of the nail bed, and it is so true. For the first time in a very long time, my nails look healthy. Since it had been about a month since I soaked my acrylics off, and also since I hadn't even had a fill since about 3 weeks before that, I lightly buffed them with a white buffing block and a little oil. They look much, much better! I just have a couple of very light "drill marks" but other than that, my nails are just smooth and well hydrated. I am excited to see the growth that I'll acheive in the next few weeks.
