everyone,
we are here to help. yes, this a site promoting a product which barbara and her husband do sell, but we do try and help with fingernail issues. they seem to be important to women, everywhere, just from the amount of questions and concerns seen here and the billions spent on them every year. if we don't know the answer we'll say so or hopefully someone will come along who does. we will offer support and guidance when asked, but we also realize when people come here and ask questions they really don't want an answer to. i love coming here everyday and see women, like myself, who have overcome horrible biting, picking, and acrylic abuse, to find that they really can have strong, healthy nails. i am not alone out here is, i guess, what i'm trying to say. this is a "truthful" site in so many ways-in the product and the forum.

Thank you Cheryl! It has been a tremendous help to me knowing that I am not the only one who has had the nail problems I had. Having others to 'chat' with about this product and other tips and tricks for getting nice nails has been invaluable!

If Cheryl did not live in NY I would hire her to work for me in a heart beat. You have a technical question, cheryl is the one that will find an answer. You need a pick me up, cheryl is a great tonic! And you're right Moi, chatting about things really does help to keep your head on streight ;)

While I always think that I am chatting here with my lady friends, I was pleasantly surprised to read some previous topics and see that some gentlemen have posted questions. Whether they are asking because they need strong nails in their profession or just want to look well-groomed, I am delighted to see the interest, and will try not to always fall into my "speaking to the ladies" vernacular. However, I believe our Q group is female from what I can tell.
I've worked with many spa and resort clients for years, and they are the first to tell you that more and more men are enjoying the pampering and rejuvenation benefits of the spa and salon products and facilities. So let me extend a welcome to the male NGF users!

i totally agree. i've always tried to respond to their questions as straight forward and quickly as i can. they usually start out with,"i don't know who else to ask, but came across this site". it's too bad they don't have a place of their own, but we will always welcome them here.

Yes Jill, men are wonderful customers of this product. Several are classical guitarist. Some are business men in advertising and their nails MUST be well groomed. No mud! you know!LOL:)

Actually, the matter of gender never even entered my mind. Nice nails are a gender free issue to me. Nice smile, great hands, and quick eyes and wit. Great attributes regardless of gender, wouldn't you say. I do hope they all feel welcome here. I never considered making an effort to address a welcome proper so in light of that oversight. Barbara, just wanted you to know that even though I am in NC all of my family is in Savannah. So I get to visit the great state of Georgia often!
