Subject: Barbara, you are the sweetest!
Message: I can not believe that I received my order already, I just placed my order on Saturday! Barbara, I have to tell you that good customer service is really hard to come by these days. I work hard for my money, and the older I get, the more I only want to spend it where I feel like my money is actually valued! From you calling me personally when I couldn't get my order info right :o), to getting this package to me so quickly, thank you so very much, you made my day today.
**And to all of the QVC ladies, you guys inspired me to try this product! Thanks for all of your positive raves. I've just put the product on for the first time, I look forward to letting you know how my post acrylic nails are coming!

Message: As one QVC lady to another, welcome aboard! I'm just in my first week on NGF so it's fun to compare notes with others who are new to the routine. I never wore acrylics, but my natural nails have plenty of room for improvement and need help to grow. Isn't it inspiring to hear the stories of Moi, Dap, Sheltie Girl, KBD and the rest of the QVC women who are seeing great results in such a short amount of time?
Take care,
Jill

Message: Thanks Jill, yes it is very inspiring to hear about how all of the ladies are doing with this product. I am really excited that I may have my nails back by Christmas! I always had very nice nails, but then I fell into the acrylics trap, so now my nails need lots of tlc. They will generally grow pretty quickly naturally, I am very interested to see how quickly they will grow out now with the NGF. Plus I have really developed a lot of cuticle damage from allowing the nail techs to cut them. I will never allow anyone (including myself!) to cut my cuticles again!
Do you have the entire kit? Right now I am only going to use the NGF for a couple of weeks or so, I think I will come back for the file, buffer & cream by the end of the month.
Best wishes, Joy

Message: Joy,
I purchased the whole kit but decided to start with the NGF only, and then add in the buffing routine when I believe my nails are a little stronger. They've actually been very strong in the past, but illness, toxic medications and stress have been causing them to break off or for me to pick at them. So I will give them a good foundation to start growing, then do some light buffing to keep things smoothed out.
What a nice thought to plan to have nice nails again by Christmas. Do you mind if I borrow that thought to help keep me motivated, too? I certainly have a collection of QVC rings that I'd like to feel confident about wearing again!
Take care!

Message: Hi Joy! Welcome aboard!
I hope you'll love NGF as much as I do. I have never had nice nails, and I mean never! I have tried many things but NGF is the first product that really works for me. My nails are growing faster than they ever have, my cuticles look healthy - I am no longer ashamed of my hands even though I keep my nails short! They look nice and manicured and I can't say enough good about NGF or Barbara!! Please keep us up to date on your progress. We love to hear what you think of the product.
Have a wonderful day!!

Message: Jill, you absolutely may use that thought about having nice nails by Christmas, I think that is a great goal for all of us (I know that mine won't be perfect by then, but I hope that they will definitely be longer and stronger than they are now). I can relate in part to what you were saying about the meds that you are on, my mom is a cancer survivor, we almost lost her last year. Well anyway she is still very much here with us, and she has gone through some pretty tough rounds of chemo. The first time around her nails were very brittle and they broke off. I get my "good nail gene" from her, as she has always had fabulous strong nails, which have since grown back by the way. And she never messed with acrylics, unlike silly me. So I understand what you must be going through. I hope that you are feeling better.
Hi Uniquely, you are one of the ladies that inspired me to get this product, so thank you, thank you, thank you! I will keep you all posted. You guys keep the fantastic posts coming as well.
Ciao for now!

Message: Joy,
Your screen name of JoyToday is so apt - the encouraging message you left for me was a joy to read today. I'm so glad your mom has come through things well - obviously she is one strong lady!
We should add the "Nice Nails by Christmas" motto to the ever-expanding ode to great nails from the NGF board. Have you read Moi's very creative poetry? Yes, she is the bard of better fingernails!
I tried the product because it sounds so effective. But for me personally, just having a forum to post successes or challenges is really motivating to me. Friday night I was coming back from a very upsetting doctor's appointment (I have to go out of town to see a specialist) and just out of habit, I started taking it out on my nails. I did give in a couple of times, but then I thought about the fact that I didn't want to undo the improvement I'd already seen from the NGF. More importantly, I wanted to be able to share my successes with those ladies who are already doing so well. So it really helped me take a breath and not fall into bad habits. So, perhaps Barbara never intended to have a support group here, but in many ways it really is.
Have a good evening everyone!

Message: Hopefully all of you will feel that this board is for your support. We all need a boost in our spirit from time to time, and it helps to enjoy the company of others with like minds. Up and positive, the way life should be.
Moi just boosted my spirits 2000%.
Uniquely Moi absolutely suits this beautiful person. Joy today! What inspired you so to take that name to its highest level?
cheryl has been on this board with me for more than a year, inspiring great things and finding answers to questions that I just have no time to research. If it were not for her, on more than one occasion, I would have removed the board. We had some nasty children playing on the computer some months back and cheryl kept me sane through it all. So if anyone is in need of support, or a hug, or just to VENT! please feel free. I so enjoy all of my new found friends.
So if nothing else comes from Q at least it allowed me to be touched by some pretty remarkable, inspiring women. Thank you all!

Message: Hi ladies!
What sweet compliments you have paid me today! I appreciate them! My self esteem can always use a booster shot!
I'm glad, Jill, that you stopped the attack on your nails before it was too late. I know how hard it can be to stop. I have been a picker all my life. I had my pinkies torn down so far there was more bare nail bed than there was nail. The only thing that has gotten me through some of the difficult times in the past month without tearing my nails off one by one, was buffing! I would take out my buffer and use my NGF and instead of destroying the nails, I nourished them. Keep up the GREAT job! We are here for you in your hour of need ;)
Joy, I too love your name! It's just so nice to find so many positive people. Not people who agree with everything you say or post, but people who know how to be kind and supportive even if they do not agree!
Barbara, so many of us have been touched by your kindness and caring of our individual needs and problems! I appreciate your warm and welcoming spirit encouraging us to use your forum as a place to share ideas, tips, hints or just say HI! New friendships have been made here, and for that I am truly thankful!!

Message: Barbara, don't let all of that negativity get to you. I've seen some amazing things on the Q BB since I started reading the threads earlier this year. People can be a trip! But, with everything that I've personally endured this year, and everything that we've seen as a nation, I just have decided to let all that negative stuff roll. For the first time in my life, I really do have "joy today", hence my screenname. My joy does come from my faith as a Christian; just a genuine desire to be joyful. I always wondered why people would want to be mean spirited or rude online; communication is communication. We are all still human beings, whether you can see me or not, I always want to be real, be genuine, be nice. I don't understand why people think that just because we're on the internet, that the same rules of courtesy and decency do not apply to this method of communication. Oh well, guess that's just me.
Ladies, I am thouroughly pooped, got a long day tomorrow. I'll *see* you tomorrow.
Sleep well,
-Joy
