I've been on NGF for just under one week and am thrilled by how well-hydrated my nails are. Even back in the days when I was able to grow my nails long, they were always dry and brittle. For years I've used various oil-based nail and cuticle products and used hand cream on my hands and nails faithfully. But my nails always looked dry. NGF seems to really keep my nails well-moisturized even through all the handwashing and dishwashing of the day.
I believe this bodes well for my hope to be able to grow my nails longer again without breaking. I'm fortunate that my cuticles have been really healthy and not too noticeable, so that's not the issue. So I'm posting this to give a well-moisturized thumbs-up to NGF's hydrating benefits!

Hi Jill,
What is actually going on here is the formula is protecting against extensive moisture penetration, while sealing in the natural oils and moisture so very necessary to the general good health of the nails and cuticles.

Thanks for explaining how and why NGF is working. It helps me to understand why this formula seems successful for my nails so far, versus the many products I had tried in the past and did not achieve the desired results.
