Subject: Polish continued...
Message: I just wanted to admit to Barbara and Colleen that I am a total polish junkie! I haven't been polish free for more than a 1 day at most for 10 years probably. I also HAVE to have it! I went polish free for 7 days after removing my silks and using the NGF and
then had to had to put on a coat of light pink. It's so funn how much better I feel about myself with nail polish!
I am using non-acetone remover and using the NGF as soon as it dries. Of course my nails chip afer a couple of days which is the reason I got the silks originally. I'm guessing the damaged parts of my nails have to grow out completely and then the new nail will be healthier and hopefully I won't have the peeling nail/chipping polish anymore.

Message: Awww, I used to have yours Moi. I would pick the skin around my nails and have these wounds that would hurt and then scab and then the picking would start again. :( You know how I stopped? Polish! I would see my nails looking pretty and I didn't want to pick and make them look bad. Funny huh? Replace one bad vice with another I guess!

Message: There were actually stretches of times where I would not have polish on my nails. I could go for a few months and be fine, but I still had to at least buff them for the shine. I just prefer the look of a sheer, or clear polish. Some people do the full makeup thing, I like natural makeup and a gloss on my nails. I like the "slickness" and smoothness of polish on my nails. Without polish they feel dry and I feel the ridges. Yes, I've tried buffing the ridges out but it's never worked. It's part of my nail. :-( I guess if nail polish (and gloss) are my only vices I'm in pretty good shape. But I will try the no polish for awhile, Barbara. Honest.

Message: I'm also struggling with the "no polish" thing!!! Even not wearing clear polish is driving me batty!! But, I'm doing it....no polish and using NGF twice daily. After 10 days my cuticles are looking so much better and my nails are past my fingertips AND NOT BREAKING !!!! Hang tough girls...we can do this!!!

Message: I happen to have a buffer in my drawer at work so that's what I'm doing. Ya, the typical assistant doing her nails at the office. LOL Well, I couldn't stand it anymore. I need shine!

Message: My nails have never looked better. I've just hit 2 weeks with the NGF, and I just got the buffing cream, file and buffing compound the other day. WHOA what an improvement. I want polish too because my nails are so much smoother, but I won't use it. I know its drying, and so is the remover. I'm going to just admire my new healthy natural nails. Thank you Barbara!! Nothing works like your formula.

Message: I'm a polish junkie for 30 years! Last Friday I removed it & tomorrow will be the first day out in the work environment (in the health feild) with nude nails. Thank you Barbara, for the GReat prouducts & the little extra you sent along! Life is wonderful surrounded by all these Golden Retrievers;one little female foster is so curious about the buffing procedure, but she can't have any.
