Subject: QVC Beauty Board Gals
Message: I have received many thoughtful and heartfelt personal email letters since I posted last. I just want to express my appreciation and gratitude for your having cared enough to respond in such a fashion. I just really thought it best to stay "home" and tend to my business HERE, at my business. I was truly attempting to help with the problems/questions that were posted there. And yes, I was telling about our Natural Nails products, since they are a solution to a lot of those problems.
I really don't take offense with the way thing played out. Some people are just meant to argue their way through life. I am so over that! I think it ended in about the 3rd grade actually....
So no one actually "ran me off" I just opted out so that it would not create problems for anyone, myself included. I have enough to contend with from day to day without inviting conflict into my life. After greater than 55 years on this beautiful planet, I have learned that trouble will hunt you down if you expose yourself to it. So I will stay safely tucked away within my own domain, where I know what I can and can't do. My rule to live by is simple, "moderation in all things!" So if any of you are out there from the Beauty Board, I do hope you will visit with us here often and share your own insight and information here with regards to the care of our own often overlooked, and almost always abused natural nails.
Thanks for caring and sharing!

If I let every moron who said something unkind to me get to me, I would be a mess. I have a wonderful life, a wonderful family and what more could anyone want?

Message: Barbara,
I just read your post on the QVC board. Don't let some people run you off. Come back. We can all use some good advice and I would have never found out about this website if it wasn't for the QVC board. Believe me, there are some nice people on there too.
I have a question: I've been wearing acrylics for 12 years now and I'm thinking of giving them a break but my natural nails are horrible and have tried everything. They're thin and break very easily and I'm scared not to have acrylics since my nails are so bad. What would you recommend.
Thanks.

Message: sweetbabyjane,
I haven't really gone anywhere. You can find me here any time! I prefer not to upset anybodies apple cart, and I find if I stay in my own back yard, I don't break any bodies rules without meaning to!
About you nails.....
The longer you keep the acrylics (or any topical treatment) adhered to the surface, the greater the risks! You should soak them off in acetone. It takes a bit of time, so set time aside for this process. Once the nails are removed, be cautious, your nails may be very sensitive to touch...You will need to immediately begin to replenish the moisture, so have some vitamin e oil at the ready. If you order the Natural Nails Growth Formula, apply that as soon as the nails are removed. You can use the formula as often as you wish, but be certain to use it at least 2 times daily for the first 30 days at a minimum. Reclaiming your natural nails will absolutely take time, and if anyone says you can use something that will magically reestablish your healthy natural nails in a day or two is lying! The process takes time and enough effort to stay with it without caving into the old habit of instant gratification...i.e., acrylics etc. You really can get your own nails to be the best they can be if you give it some time and energy....You don't want to buff your nails right away after removing the acrylic nails....So just use the growth formula to gently urge those nails to become vital again....
