Subject: I have been using your product for about four week
Message: Hi Barbara,
How are your doing? It was so nice chatting with you on a Sunday a few weeks ago. I love your products. But I do have one question. I have been faithfully using the nail cream twice a day, but have used it over polish. When I take my polish off on the weekends they seem better, but still peel on the ends. I cut them back thinking I would get all the old damage off, but they seem to still flake on the ends. If I leave my polish off they seem so vunerable and weak. But I wonder if using polish is delaying the process? They do look better but I wonder when I will be able to wear bare nails without them chipping? Am I being impatient? I appreciate your help. Thanks so much, Wendy
P.S. I love the buffing cream as well. It is not drying like most I have tried.

Message: Hi Wendy,
It is okay to use the polish if you want to, just use a polish remover that is non acetone based when you do remove it. And don't use any polish remover more than 2 times monthly, according to the Mayo Clinic. Just touch up the polish between removals.
If you apply the Growth Formula and buff it in, it will shine and seal the nails as though you used a clear coat, if you want to forgo the polishes for a while and try it a bit differently.
The layering and flaking take time to stop, so you are not asking a question that should not be addressed....If your nails and cuticles need extra attention you can apply the formula as often as you want to, it wont hurt a thing. I would also suggest that you might use a little vitamin e oil every now and then to give them an added bit of "nourishment!" It will be readily absorbed and will help replenish the soft tissue.
You are allowed to be a bit impatient, just don't give up! You really are on your way now....Take care of those beauties, and if you have other questions please feel free.

Message: Wendy,
polish remover is a pretty harsh chemical if you consider what it will remove. i've accidentally stripped furniture and remove the dark red dye from my leather ottoman when i've spilled it. acetone is much worse then non-acetone, but neither should be used on a weekly basis. both are extremely dehydrating. flaking is a huge sign of moisture loss. i buffed with the growth formula last night and made sure i buffed gently around the free, white edge to seal them and keep them from peeling. it gives them a shine that looks like i have put a clear coat on them. mine "suffered" from my recent vacation(moving luggage for 6 people will get them everytime!) so i am starting over on quite a few, which before i started using the formula would have taken forever to see any progress, but now i see growth, healthiness and white after a week. have patience. i know how hard it is. it took 2 full months, after acrylics, for mine to start doing anything other than being thin, transparent, peeling, pieces of unhealthy nail trying to grow. it will happen.
