Subject: My nail
Message: My nails grow quickly with no problem but they always break from the sides. Then I have to start all over again. Even though they appear to be healthy.

Message: Calinda,
It may be due to the way you are filing your nails. If you use the file right along the edge of where the nails grow out from the cuticles, you are weakening the structure there. Let the nails grow out beyond that point and if you prefer an oval or rounded tip to the nails then just curve the tips, and don't file the sides of the nails.
You know your nails will of course break off from time to time regardless of these issues so just count your blessing that they are healthy and grow with some degree of strength and regularity. Starting over is not as bad as not being able to get them started on that path at all.
Best Regards,
Barbara
