Subject: Discolored nails
Message: I removed my acrylics a couple weeks ago (no more for me) but my natural nails are super thin and look discolored. They are pretty smooth (no ridges) but the closer you get to the tip, starting about halfway going to the tip, the more pink they are. Is that normal? Is it just because they are thinned out?

Message: good for you-i hope you really do keep them off. you're lucky you don't have pits and ridges. having a lot of pink is not normal, but typical after acrylics. it is because they are extremely thinned out and damaged. it took mine 4 months to get a decent amount of thinkness back. what was left on a few of mine was translucent. bent and snagged on everything. that lasted about two days and i cut them off and haven't looked back. strong and healthy nails now with the growth formula from this site.
