its my birthda soon and i want a nail kit but im am unsure of what some of them are. There is an acrylic kit that in cludes tips and a silk fibre glass wrap with wraps included. Could you please tell what these are and how you use them. Thank alot

this is a natural nails forum. you will ruin your own nails by applying these and stand a good chance of developing a fungus or bacterial infection doing them on your own. go back and read some of the previous posts about the horrible results that acrylic nails have left many of us with. spend the time and effort in getting manicures for your own nails. acrylics need to be filled in every two weeks, assuming there are no problems. you are going to spend more money, time and aggravation on trying to keep up with this when you could be growing your own nails and getting manicures every month and save some money doing it. in a couple of months down the road when you're tired of the acrylics and decide to remove them you are going to have damaged nail beds left-what then? these acrylics involve strong chemicals, mixed together in the correct amounts and require a very steady hand. nail techs, as good or as bad as they are, require a lot of practice to get good at it, doing it day day after day. you are not going to get a good result. please don't do it.
