I have been wearing acrylics for the last 9 years on and off. About 5 years ago I removed a set and damaged my right middle finger nail bed. At first it was just dry and split right down the center starting at the cuticle. I buffed it to smooth out to roughness. Anyway so now there is a permanent dark brown line that seems to be getting thicker with the ridges. I recently started using a citris product nightly but I don't know if it's helping. I don't think that it's fungus. It's like damage to my nail bed. Any ideas? I'll gladly send a photo.
