Subject: Terrible aging nails
Message: I have tried everything on the market for my aging nails. I even left off my polish for about six months to no avail. I am hoping your product is as wonderful as everyone says it is. I was wondering if it can be used over nail polish? My nails look so terrible I hate to go without polish for awhile, at least until they look somewhat better. I have ridges and they are thin and peeling. I am very careful what I use. Help!!

Message: Hi Wendy,
You may indeed apply the growth formula in conjunction with fingernail polish. But my best advise if you do so, is that you use a polish remover that is non acetone based...It dehydrates the nails and creates cracked cuticles as well. The growth formula should be focused on the matrix area, or the base of the nails where the growth occurs. It will stimulate the cell activity and provide a more repaid growth pattern. It is lanolin rich so it will also provide a moisture barrier. This will help with the layering or peeling and if you use the buffing cream and buffer, you can gently buff out those slight imperfections on the surface of the nails.

Message: wendy,
it works as long as you use it as directed. a little goes a long way. i wouldn't go so far as to say it's a miracle. i tend to leave those for the bigger things in life that come along, but you will have healthy, strong nails again.

Message: Yea! I just received my product and started using it right away. My nails feel more moistened already. I did not get the buffing cream and buffer yet, but do have two questions about the buffing cream. How often can you use it and what are the ingredience in the cream? I am so excited to be using Barbara's products. Thanks!!!!!

Message: Wendy,
I should have enclosed an instruction sheet with the order. Apply light amount of the formula and rub it into the nails and cuticles, concentrating on the matrix, twice daily....Rub it in for about one minute per nail. Do this twice daily for the first 30 days....Then you cut back to once daily, and as your nails improve and become stronger, you decrease the use until you are comfortable with your growth pattern.
The ingredients are listed on the back of the large jar, the small jar would not hold the information.. The ingredients include, lanolin, beeswax, sodium barate, aeromatics, oxyquinoline, wintergreen and mustard oils.
I guess I should re-vamp the instruction sheets to include the ingredients so that those with the small jar will not be in the dark. Sorry!
If you have further questions let us know.
