Hi, I've got ridges in my nails and they are a little discolored. My mother has ridges in her nails and her mother, too. I think the ridges might be hereditary, but does anyone know how can get rid of the yellowing discoloration?

try soaking in some lemon juice or lightly buffing them. there are buffers with different levels of grit that you work your way up in. just don't overdo.
