Subject: I've always had flat thin nails
Message: Okay, I'm trying to grow my nails out but I want to make sure I do this the correct way. I've to in the past but when my nails get length to them they usually chip or break or the worst bend backward, ewwww. Anyway, a few of my nails are very flat when they grow out. The corners kind of curl up ward too like they grow wings or something. My pinky nails curl upwards and i know from these posts that this could be due to an A.)fungus B.)Dehydrated nails, or C.)Hereditary. I don't think it's a fungus because my pinky nails look normal besides the curling. It could be dehydration or it could be genetic. I'm trying nail creams and taking vitamins in hopes that this will improve my nails. Any other advice out there?

Message: Angela,
my guess is on genetics and dehydrated nails. it might even go back as far as a grandmother passing this on to you. in my research, i have come to the conclusion, that in order for lack of vitamins and minerals to affect your nails like that, you would need to be anemic, anorexic, chronically ill or something along those lines. a good multi-vitamin, everyday, covers most all of us. the hair, skin, and nail versions are just wasted. they end up just going right on through! i'm pretty straight to the point, in case you haven't noticed, so, just take your multi-vitamin everyday, try to eat decently, go have them filed correctly by a GOOD manicurist, and please get some of the nail growth formula. small jar, big jar, doesn't matter. you're spending money on creams and stuff now, when all you need is this. ok, that's it. i'm not here to "push" it on anybody. it's not why i do this. it speaks for itself.

Message: I think I know what it is. Your nails are very thin and week now, so, they just unable to kip their shape. After a few months you should have absolutely normal nails, of course if you don’t put any artificial stuff. Give your nails some nourishment. Personally, I love nail growth formula Barbara sells. I use it for less then two months and I see how healthy my nails are (tips of my nails are still thin and damaged because I had acrylic but they are not fragile, don’t crack or split) I think I need another month to see my nails fully grown. Here is another reason why your nails have “spoon” shape – Iron deficiency. But before you go buy iron supplement, have an appointment with your doctor and ask him (her) to take a blood test. Maybe you are anemic.
Good luck.

Message: The Natural Nails Growth Formula will solve the problem with dehydration. It provides a moisture barrier to seal in the natural oils a allows the nails to stregthen, while preventing excessive noisture from penetrating the surface of the nails to weaken the structure.
