Hello everybody, I read a few pages back a discussion on white spots on nails. It is a myth that these spots are caused by calcium defficiency. I have sufferred from white spots on my nails for a few years despite eating a well balanced diet with all bran in the mornings and plenty of milk. I also take a daily multi-vitamin supplement. My doctor recommended that I take a 15mg zinc supplement a day that covers the RDA. I have not had any spots for months now. Try it. It does work.
