Subject: Removing acrylic
Message: can i just say to one of the posts that if you keep removing acrylics all the time and reaplying then this is going to ruin your nails. Removing them should be kept minimal. If you just want them for a special occasion then go for stick ons, that way you dont have to soak them off, which will dehydrate the nail very badly if done too much. If you like the acrylics then get a very good tec, and get a rebalance every other week to keep them looking good. This saves you taking them on and off causing damage to your nail.

Message: I am just starting a study course in manicure. Can anyone tell me what the difference is between Acetone and Ethyl Acetate. Is Ethyl Acetate the main solvent used in non-Actone nail varnish remover (therefore used on acrylic nails) or am I barking up the wrong tree? Please help.
