Subject: Light Concept Nails
Message: Ever hear of them? They are supposed to be better than gel, acylic and silk. About 50.00 more expensive too. Don't yellow, don't need polish (looks like a french) and not supposed to damage your nails. Well I found this site too late. About a week after my first application. Did it for two months and got tired of the expense. They really did look nice, but I really want my own nails to look nice. Well the removal was no picnic. A bit painful and boy are my nails thin. This stuff DOES NOT soak off with remover. Has to be clipped and filed down. The technician kept saying that my nails would be thin, but "not a bad as with the other techniques". Yeah right!! If my nails are this thin, and this is supposed to be "better", I can't even imagine what others are like. Well as I said, I found this site after the fact, so after I got home from the salon and the removal, I placed my order. I really hope this stuff works. If it does, I will be singing your praises.

Message: Sheri,
i'm sorry you had to go through all that. there really is "no better". any tech that says your nails won't be thinner and weaker is lying. use the products as instructed. give it a full month of twice a day. just the fact that you say, "i want my own nails to look nice", means you're really ready to try having strong, healthy nails.

Message: I had acrylics on for a while and when they had to be removed, the guy nail tech recommended the Light Concepts, I got them because they looked so good and versatile. However, I felt like he out and out lied to me because he said it cost almost the same as the acrylics. Well, after the 2nd fil in and paying $50 more, I was so angry that I never went back and grew them out myself. My nails were horrible. They hurt, too.
I wish I had heard of this product sooner. I am going to give it a try because even a year later, my nails are still peeling and breaking so much that I was thinking of getting acrylics again.
I hope this stuff works. I'd like my nails to look nice again.

Message: Jean,
it's all for the love of the $$$$. a great many nail techs lose their conscious when it comes to these. do you know how many women every day are out and out lied to about acrylics. there is no regulation in the industry. they like to believe there is but they are delusional.
please, i beg you, don't get acrylics again. you've come throught the hard part-making the decision to remove them and living with the aftermath for a year. use this product as directed. you will have healthy nails again. i've been where you are and it will work.

Message: I finally placed an order on Wed and received my packaged from the mailman today. Wow, that was fast. Thank you very much since I didn't expect it until after the holiday and I was very happy with the fast service. I already put on 1 application and will do another this evening.
I hope that by the end of the month my poor nails will be looking better. They are brittle and break on the sides.

Message: Hi Jean,
Thanks for letting us know you received your product. You use it, it will work for you too! You don't use it, nothing about those nails will change. I am proud for your decision to get your own nails into healthy shape. In the end you spend a lot less money, time, effort and frustration and possibly save all of those babies .... Take good care of those jewels!

Message: angela,
this is a natural nail forum. a majority of us here have been through the horror of what's left behind after acrylic's were removed and before they were removed in some cases. i'm sure if you "googled" for the sealant you would find many sites.

Message: Jean and Sheri - just had to pop in and say that I think it's unconscionable when we are sold expensive products like this that are touted as a safe or natural alternative to acrylics. These products (like the Light Concepts) prey off of individuals who are hoping for an alternative that is safe but produces a pretty result. I probably would have fallen for it to at some point had it been something my tech offered. Glad you both wised up and are on the mend!
