 Subject: daughter wripped nail off

My daughter was riding a skateboard with her brother and her finger was rolled over and it wripped half of her middle finger's nail off. It all came off just what is left is only half there so her nail bed is just there. Any advise on how I should take care of this. (besides throwing the skateboard away) they had helmets but that didnt seem to help :)

try and keep it clean as possible during the day with antiseptic spray or hydrogen peroxide. both kept in the refigerator feel good when sprayed on. cover it loosely at night with a band-aid and neosporin creme. if it was just a rip and not a "crush", then it should just grow right back out. time will tell.

Apply lots of mosturizing oil. Can you get hold of a creative salon. Solar oil is one of the best oils around great healing process

I HAD A TOE NAIL ON MY BIG TOE COME OFF ONE TIME WHEN I WAS KICKING A TRASHCAN TRING TO GET THE TRASH BAG OUT. A OLDER LADY TOLD ME TO SOAK THE TOE IN EPSON SALT WATER, TO GET THE WATER AS HOT AS I COULD HANDLE, I DID THIS FOR 3 OR 4 TIMES UNTILL THE WATER WAS COOL EACH TIME AND THE TOE NEVER ONCE HURT ME WITH ANY PAIN NOT EVEN FROM A SOCK OR A SHOE!
