I just wanted to know what it means when the free edge of your nails is naturally very white compared to other people. My nails seem very healty but I just wanted to know if them being very white is good or bad or what it's from. People think I have had a french manicure. :-)

it doesn't mean anything, except you have very healthy nails and don't have to go get french manicures. enjoy them and say thank you when complimented.

If the nails are very white it is usually because they are thicker and stronger than those that appear transparent...The thinner the nail the more transparent it becomes. If you are blessed with thick natural nails, be proud of them, but moisture is essential to them. I would venture a guess, that it is safe to say, that we all believe Melissa has nothing to worry about, with the fact that her nails are gloriously healthy.

oh my god no way is she bleesed with good nails i have the same problem and people just wont leave me alone the 1st thing people say to me is where did you get ur nails done ahhhh its so ANNOYING!!!!!

Hmmmm.....looks to me like it would be a wonderful thing to just naturally have what others want so bad that they pay for it. JMO! Try to take it as a compliment and just know that the rest of us are jealous! LOL!

yeah harvey, annoying. just go do a google search and type in nail disorders and look at all the "lovely" pictures of people that would give anything to have half-way healthy nails. be grateful for what you have, not annoyed.
