Subject: after acrylic
Message: After acrylic my fingernails are so thin I can’t buff them too much to make surface even. I couldn’t wait to make my fingernails look good again. I tried to put nail polish and that made imperfections appear more. And I really wanted to cover dark pink and white spots caused by drilling. But I “invented” quick fix for myself. First I used “Hard as Wraps Hard as Nails” by Sally Hanson (Instead of one I put two coats) and let it dry completely. Then by using very fine (blue) buffer I purchased at the beauty supply I gently buffed it until everything was perfect. Then I put two coats of my favorite nail polish follow by the top coat. After complete drying I used growth formula as directed (that makes my cuticles look very healthy). When I was done my fingernails looked like I just left nail salon.
I understand not everybody can put nail polish on their own nails, but you can go to nail salon to finish ( be sure to tell manicurist DO NOT use nail polish remover before applying nail polish, just wash your hands with soap and warm water).
I hope somebody find it helpful.
P.S. Thanks, Barbara. Your product is really good!!! I’m very impressed with wanderstone file; Growth Formula cream is amazing, my cuticles never looked better; I like buffing cream too, but my fingernails are so thin and sensitive right now, so I’m going to wait.
Thanks for reading.

Message: Hi Olga,
I am so glad to hear that the cuticles are already gaining some benefit. Keep up using the formula and sooner than you think your nails will be able to begin a light buffing to smooth the surface imperfections.
You are welcome...Thank you for the confidence in our products. I am really proud to know that our products work.
Please continue to join in on the forum with insight.

Message: The best way to remove artificial fingernails (acrylic or silk wrap) is to soak them in acetone for 10-15 min., then kind of wipe it off. But if it’s a gel you have to buff them off, because gel doesn’t dissolve in acetone. That what manicurist told me.
