Message: I also wanted fake toenails so I could wear sandals. I had ingrown toenails and when they were "fixed" they were damaged. I tried the pedicure sets from Wal-mart. I wouldn't recommend them. What toenail I did have left was ripped off when my daughter accidentally stepped on my toe with the fake toenail attached. It completely ripped off my toenail from the root under the skin! Very painful.

Message: that's the danger you run into also with acrylic fingernails. when they are knocked off or whacked on something, more often than not, the natural nail will come off too. toenails are even more susceptable just because they are down there to be stepped on or jammed into. i know we need an acceptable alternative to losing toenails, i just don't know what that is.

Message: I just read that there's a new line of Kiss toenails specifically for people without big toenails. It's called Big Toes. Sixteen plain big toenails in four sizes for $5.99, with medical-grade glue gel for use directly on skin.

Message: Joni,
Where would you find these toe nails? Thanks for the information. There are those out there with out healthy nails on their fingers or their toes, so this kind of information is very valuable to help them have the products made available to them. Please elaborate with the information about purchasing the products.

Message: i've seen the kiss line in all the major drug stores. what a great idea for people who have lost their toe nails for one reason or another. you just have to be careful with the glue and then with not whacking it and injuring the skin that it's glued to.

Message: I also see the Kiss line in my local Wal-Mart store. Fake toenails by that brand were on sale recently. They come in a lot of styles, such as a pinkish-red color, French manicure, and plain (no color). Fing'rs, another brand, also sells a pack of big toenails already painted and designed and it also includes matching polish for the rest of your toenails.
