Message: if the ridges aren't too deep, then they can be buffed out. the reason the tops are peeling is most likely from dehydration. nails are subjected to drying out through handwashing and all the everyday abuse we put them through.

Message: "A deficiency of the B vitamins causes fragility, with horizontal and vertical ridges."
"Iron deficiency may resolt in "spoon" nails (nails that develop a concave shape) and/or vertical ridges."--from "PRESCRIPTION FOR NUTRITIONAL HEALING".(GRATE BOOK.)
