Oi vey, did this one hurt. Slammed shut a car
door on my thumb, and the nail is mostly black
and blue. At the point where the nail goes
under the skin at the base, it feels sort of like
the *beginning* of the nail is loose or
disconnected. Otherwise, the nail is
seemingly on good, but the thing is numb.
Im just wondering if my nail will fall off, or if i
should sterilize a needle and attempt to drain
the blood out. Thank you!

if there's a lot of blood under the nail and the pressure is too much then draining it would probably help. i can almost guarantee that you are going to lose your nail. sounds like a pretty good whack! you're just going to have to wait for it to decide to fall off. forcing it is just going to add insult to injury. good luck.
